I spend several hours a week playing video games, but when I do, I want action packed next generation gameplay! Im also a Halo homer so after the first hour I was sure that my money was well spent. The single player and online play is chaotic and fun! Buy this game!

I have been a Halo fan since day one. While I was doubting the addition of another main character, they did a wonderful job with it, and created a story that kept you wanting to play. Multiplayer does not disappoint either, staying as face paced as always. A great game that is worth every penny!

The story isnt the best but still very good. Multiplayer is a dream. Best Multiplayer in halo yet. Tons of Req packs that keep you going. Combat is greater than ever with the new thruster pack and pakoring up ledges. Weapons all very balanced even the smg and promethean pistol being very worthy.

This is an alright game but it doesn’t continue the master chief. I wish that Xbox consoles would keep a list of your games- not just the digital ones. I like how the Nintendo Switch has a list that includes both physical and digital games. For those of us who prefer keeping physical copies of games especially seeing as how Xbox touts back compatibility!

It's a great game with great visuals, but missing the key elements that made halo a godly series. You start off in teams with no explanation which is bad story telling but the gameplay sticks to basics for the most part and it's well rounded enough to justify $60.

The campaign graphics were good, the multiplayer graphics were meh, and the lack of splitscreen was a huge disappointment. i've done splitscreen since halo 2, so i honestly wasnt expecting it to not have it. people are saying its fine cuz splitscreen is ruins the experience for single player, but honestly thats why its splitscreen. i like hanging out with my friends IN PERSON, not over a mic. video games are mine and most of friends' hobby so we like to do them together. BUT i still like halo, its great. now that im in college, my mom has to play online with me anyways, so we only splitscreen when i come home. thank god black ops 3 has splitscreen or we wouldnt have too many new games to play together over my winter holiday!

Longtime Halo fan and Halo 5 was not a disappointment. The plot is great and all but I feel it came short in some areas. Multiplayer is something else entirely. Different feel than the past games. Of course all fans must play it for yourself. Overall it was cool.

The story is a little confusing from the start but the end brings it all together, but lets be honest, who buys games for the story. the visuals are beautiful and finally show off the Xbox one potential. the multiplayer is fast paced, exciting, and newly revamped

If you are a Halo fan this game is a no brainer! For those on the fence, the game runs and looks great. You will have a great time with the single player campaign. It is on the short side but decent. The bad news is that there is no couch co-op for multi-player.

It's a lot better than Halo 4. 4 felt more towards the COD style of multiplayer. This is back to Halo roots. Everyone starts with the same guns and it's a fight for the weapons on the map. The sprinting and the clambering and quick boosts add a little variance.

Single player mode is okay, multiplayer is fun but graphics are not that good, it's better than previous Halo games but should have been way better on nex-gen consoles (Just my opinion). That said, it's worth buying it pre-owned and would recommend to friends.

Best Halo Ever! It's only been about a week of playing, but this game is amazing. The visuals the game play are all spot on. If you've played previous Halos or even if you are new. I would recommend this game! I've been playing Halo since the Combat Evolved and this is the best one so far.

I hesitated to purchase this game due to how terrible the last couple of halos have been. This one brought back multiplayer enjoyment for me, however i feel like the campaign in this game started like an awesome fireworks display and then fizzled to sparklers.

Game is great and amazing. I know it’s not the most popular because of the controversy around the story but it is still an amazing game I had a blast playing it and enjoyed it.

Good game, although it doesn't compare to halo 1-3, halo 3 odst or halo reach, I think is a good game on its own.

As far as the Halo games go, the 2nd trilogy by 343 Studios isn't the trilogy I've hoped it would be. However, this game did bring the ability to play Halo 5 MP to Windows 10 and Xbox One, so not all bad is coming from the franchise.

Halo has not changed in the past years. Although there are tweaks to gameplay, the game still fundamentally feels the same. That being said, the game is a solid shooter and truly worth purchasing if you play with friends. But otherwise, the game is skippable.

No split-screen of any kind really killed the replay value for my family. My son and I were so excited to play through the new entry in the Halo series and were so disappointed that we couldn't play together. We ended up passing the controller for each mission and played through the weakest Halo campaign yet. Even ODST had a better plot. The online multiplayer also lacks split-screen and currently has only 2 modes: Warzone and Arena (with a couple slight variations of the 2). No Big Team Battle. No Forge mode (in today's post-Mincraft world is baffling). It's a fun game. But feels like Halo 4 DLC. Not the true sequel we've been waiting for. (and what's with nothing from the ad campaign being in the actual story?)

Multiplayer is definitely where this game shines. The campaign seems short, and limited, but hopefully there's some great dlc upcoming that makes up for it. Multiplayer is awesome, warzone is really fun and easily replayable, with different objectives based on the other team skill level

It has a Halo 2/3 feel despite the different storyline. Halo 5 brought back a few fan favorite maps from the old days such as Midship and Sanctuary. Some of the weapons have the same concepts from Halo 2/3. I had my doubts, but I was convinced by a friend to buy it and I'm glad I did.
