Save the $30 and wait for the price drop. The quality of effects are amazing. Some of the dialogue is hard to understand, especially the main villain. The story line is almost useless and hard to keep track of while playing. Just like Halo 4, the game just ends without any real resolution or sense of accomplishment. Most of the game play you have come to expect and love from previous versions are missing, most notably the duel wielding of smaller weapons, so the needler is useless again. Thankfully no Flood, but the Prometheans are just about as annoying and repetitive. There is more to buy once you buy the game, which really angers me. Packs and add-ons.

The campaign felt extremely unfinished and wasn't really rewarding. The online is a lot of fun, but it has some really wonky moments with no explanation what so ever. If you like Halo, you'll like it. It just takes some getting used to.

It's ok, i really haven't wanted to play much, because it doesn't have split screen and you would assume if not split screen they would have a match making for coop campaign, but they didn't do that either! I think they are lazy developers tbh. My halo friends and family didn't bother getting it, so I have no friends to play with. If i could do it again i probably wouldn't pick it up. Graphics aren't that good, textures are poor, and it looks like halo 4 or a bit worse, probably the same engine. I don't like the new hero locke, I think buck would have been better as the leader. You only get to play masterchief for a few missions. 5/10 wouldn't play again

Was expecting more after waiting years waiting for this to come out. Missing being able to zoom in with sniper rifles. Graphics and storyline are ok. Still like Halo 2 and Halo 4 better

Not sure why the creators of the game (323) think we want to play as characters other then the Master Chief, but, that's what happens for a majority of this game. Never the less, it still plays like the Halo you came for.

I haven't played any of the Halo series since the original Xbox, and now I wish I had. This game is great. Excellent graphics and expansive online gameplay. Being that I haven't played Halo it is harder than Call of Duty, but this comparing apples to oranges.

Halo 5 is great game to play with friends, the biggest knock on the game has been the inability to play with friends outside of online play. For me it doesn't apply as strictly play multiplayer online when I don't play the campaign. Always have a blast playing it

I go through phases with certain games. I enjoy getting on after work and playing multiplayer. Love the addition of being able to climb around. Takes a while to acquire different weapon skins, armor, and tags if you don't spend money on the in-game purchases.

I never play the campaign, but I play the multiplayer all the time. I believe this is where the game is the best. A lot of different guns and different maps and game setups to choose from. If you like shooter multiplayer games then you'll be happy with Halo 5.

After playing halo 4 i wasnt going to give this one a try but im glad i did this game did a good job bringing the halo feel we all know and love. But some dislikes are the requirements to have certain weapons and vehicle are annoying.

I say good but not great due to the fact I love Destiny. In Halo's defense if i had never played Destiny i probably would have reviewed it a touch higher. Game play is fun, but right out the gate it made me missBungie developed Halos

Fantastic Halo game from beginning to end. Be warned that about 80% of the game is played with Locke's team. Gameplay is tight as expected. I did coop campaign which plays great, I can't really speak to other aspects of multiplayer.

This game has the best multiplayer of the Halo series. The campaign is lacking a bit. However, the mechanics are smooth, the game-play is fast paced (not obnoxiously quick like Call of Duty), and entertaining. Overall, you will enjoy this game. Worth the buy.

The past Halo games weren't the greatest, Halo 5 comes in with a huge Bang! The multiplayer brings back memories of playing Halo 3 for hours on end and not being bored. The story was a little lackluster for me, but still definitely a 5 star game thru and thru.

the graphics are ,how can i say ,,,BEYOND BELIEF,this new halo knocks it out of the park,there is so much material to the game ,it takes some time to download from the physical disc,which is fine because i feel like im getting my money worth,buy it!!!!!!!!!!!

Story in Halo has never really been standout while the multiplayer has always been where it is at. This one does not disappoint. If you are looking for the continued story of the Master Chief you might be looking at the wrong place.

THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE ONLY GAMES I PLAY ON THE XBOX. DEF RECOMMEND PLAYING THIS ON XBOX LIVE. YOU GET THE MOST OUT OF IT WHILE PLAYING WITH OTHER PEOPLE. STORY MODE GREAT AS WELL ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE STILL LEARNING.

Man, they have made some great strides on the multiplayer aspect of this game. I have heard though that the campaign leave a little to be desired regarding the story. I know that I will still get a ton of enjoyment out of this game.

This is my first time playing a Halo game so I have nothing to compare to as far as story and game play from previous games. I enjoyed it mostly, the game looks good and runs smoothly. There was one annoying glitch I ran into on the last level of campaign that would cause the game to crash to the Xbox dashboard if I was killed. I had to reload my save from an earlier point and be really careful not to die. Online multiplayer has been fun so far, I have mostly played the single player mode for now though. SPOILER ALERT - the ending of campaign leaves much to be desired, the game just ends abruptly with what seems like no resolution to the story.

I have been a big fan of the Halo Franchise. The experience is different from the when I first started playing Halo (back when Halo 2 was released). Overall a fun and new take on the Halo Universe.
