After waiting for this game to come out for years I was really excited to play through and continue the halo story. Even though I don't have Xbox live I still got a good couple of hours out of playing through the story mode .

This game is amazing! Been a big halo fan since halo 1, the story in this game is alright. Pretty good. Misses some main points is you don't follow the lore. Multiplayer is the best yet! Straight COD killer! Buy this game!!!

The campaign, while a bit short, brings new characters into focus the tell a great story. Multiplayer is fast and fun. Everything feels balanced and only a small learning curve is required for veterans and new players alike.

I love this Halo game, it's fun, I'm not a Call of Duty guy, I've always thought Halo was more of a working man's FPS, cuz I have a full time job and family and I can play casually and still get kills and an occasional win.

Story mode sucked. Felt like a call of duty, takes a long time to get into the story. Once you are in.... Game over. The multi-player is great. Will need some updates but I'm sure those will happen.

The next gen Halo offering has the expected graphical upgrades, but not much of a change to game play. That's not a bad thing. The formula hasn't been broken and could only use a few minor tune ups.

Out of all the Halo games, this one is the best by far. Excellent graphics, excellent loading time and excellent for online gaming. One of the best games I have ever played. I am very happy and spend lots of time playing.

If you've played any of the halos it's what you've come to expect. I don't buy this whole new era of Halo talk. Good news is that if you enjoyed the previous Halo games you'll like this one too.

Story leaves something to be desired, but the multiplayer more than makes up for it. Combine that with the promise of free DLC this is a great pic for any new or existing fan of the Halo franchise.

Good game! Very entertaining if you're a COD fan! But, strayed from the typical Halo style of play. Amazing graphics on an XBOX 1 X. Recommend if you like COD stuff.

halo 5 is sweet is your at home alone, but if you want your friends to come play, it wont be online. unless they have their own xbox 1 n game, but its fun anyway, get master chief edition if you want in house multiplayer.

You can't be a halo fan and not have halo 5. It's a great game with lots of new additions. Campaign is fun. Multiplayer is lacking on map diversity but that should be fixed with upcoming add ons.

I love the halo series. Multi-player has always been phenomenal. Great stories. Fun to play with friends or alone. They've upgraded co-op to allow 4 players, however it's only through 4 online systems. They've rejected couch co-op, no longer letting you play with your friend any time you please. This was a huge disappointment. The storyline itself has little focus on master chief. This felt closer to reach or odst, being a story in the halo universe, but not a matter chief story. This was disappointing. I still enjoy it, but 343 is leaving much to be desired...

Halo 3 was always my game, not the biggest fans of 1 or 2 but they're still great. The evolution of the series is both fascinating to see and disappointing to experience. While it doesn't feel like the Halo I played throughout middle school and high school, the campaign is still kind of fun to play. The story is pretty not great at all but hey, it's a video game. You should play for the game not for the story.

Great next series to the Halo Franchise. Granted I think Halo should've ended when Bungie finished with 3 but 343 is doing a good job keeping the series going

The story is pretty compelling. The only thing that put me off was you can't play local multiplayer with this game as opposed to previous versions. It all has to be done online, which is a bummer.

Glad that 4 person co-op is back in halo and now everyone's a different and distinct character important to the story rather than the same character, Gameplay is as good as every, you will not regret picking up this game.

Playing warzone with 18 plus people creates another great game mode and provides non stop action in multi-player. The guns and the scopes are different than in the past which adds some fun to it.

The online multiplayer with games like this are just getting real old real fast wish they would focus more on a great story the co-op story mode though is a great add .

Halo 5 is a great entry to the series! The story I felt was lacking a bit and short but the multiplayer makes up for it!! One of the funniest multiplayer games I've played on the Xbox One so far.
