Looks to improve upon 4 in every way....except split screen mode. Why did they take out? Was a major selling feature for me, oh well.

Pretty great halo game, and the new warzone mode is great if you are not a halo pro. Good focus on matchmaking and overall great online experience. Also apparently has a single player mode as well. Neat.

A mysterious and unstoppable force threatens the galaxy, the Master Chief is missing and his loyalty questioned. Experience the most dramatic Halo story to date, you won't be disappointed.

Halo 5 is a bunch of fun from the story mode to multiplayer mode. You'll spend most of your time in multiplayer and you'll love it with all the new modes and Req system. I definitely recommend this game.

Multiplayer is awesome, the new mode reminds me a bit of Unreal Tournament. Single player is good, still working on the campaign.

The campaign is solid just would've liked to play more as blue team than fire team Osiris. It definitely has me anxious to see how they continue the campaign with the cliff hanger they left us with.

Halo guardians on Xbox one is truly a beautiful game. The game really shows off what the Xbox one is capable of as a next gen console. Don't hesitate to purchase this game especially if your a halo fan.

Enjoyed the game so far. It's nice to be part of a team even when I play campaign mode by myself. The graphics is amazing. With all the positives, not having split-screen is okay.

I bought Halo 5 after not playing the Halo series for the last couple of games. So far the game looks to be a very polished product but it is just does not fit my taste right now.

Good, but not great. Preview titles were better. Hoping things change for this franchise in the future.

The game goes by quite fast on normal. Legendary is where it's at though. I like the way the story line is heading. Multiplayer is just as fun as the previous games. Looking forward to the next chapter.

The story was very intriguing and the gameplay was very fun, but not being able to play locally with friends offline aka splitscreen was the reason why I rated this game 4 stars.

I really wanted to like this game. I've been a huge fan ever since the first game and have been invested in the story since the very beginning. I loved the slow, plodding pace of Halo as a shooter. It required you to make deliberate actions. Unfortunately since being handed off to 343, they have turned Halo into just another (lackluster) Call of Duty Clone. This game is now Call of Duty with shields, which is a shame because the new mode Warzone is actually pretty decent. The multiplayer not only feels more like Call of Duty and not a traditional Halo game, but it also throws out many of the fun things that made Halo multiplayer fun in the first place. The single player campaign also leaves a lot to be desired. There are some spots in the game that are breathtaking in the scale of what is going on, but the story line itself is not only utterly ridiculous, but serves absolutely no purpose. Also, Halo 4 and 5 have both ignored some factions of the Covenant completely. What happened to the Prophets? The Brutes? It's like 343 just erased them from existence in the Halo universe. The Flood is also still out there (though the Gravemind was destroyed the Flood would eventually create a new one). There is so much they could have done with this storyline, yet they opt to use an extremely horrible and uninspired choice for the villain. Save yourself the money, and read about everything that happens in Halo 5 online. It should take you literally 30 seconds to read about what happens in the game. I mean, there are three missions that each take 45 seconds to complete. I'm not joking.

I want my co-op campaign back!! Also I'd like to not have a team constantly. However it's the Halo story continued and you can't stop playing! We must find out what happens!!!

Definitely a different spin on the Halo everybody knows and loves. Play is more fast paced, the story kinda sucks (you play as Locke 90% of the time), but multiplayer is great.

Either (1) I'm getting older or (2) I'm being desensitized by other FPS games on the market, but Halo 5 has been kind of meh. I always felt that one of the best parts of the Halo series is the story-telling and presentation; both of which fall a little short in H5. I was hoping that the dichotomy of playing as Chief and Locke would bring back memories of H2, but both characters (and their teams) are somewhat interchangeable. The story's a hot, confusing mess. On the plus side, gameplay mechanic is still tops for a FPS.
