Purchased this as a Christmas gift to myself. I pre ordered the game and the purchase process was painless and the game got to me safe and sound. Gameplay was great and had fun with the new features.

If you like the Halo franchise you will love this one. Lots of action, weapons and new game types! At first I thought I was going to pass on this one but Im glad I went with it!

It is such an excellent story with lots of emotion. My one true gripe with the game is that it does not have offline co-op like previous Halo games.

Halo 5: Guardians is a good game, even though the story is a little underwhelming. The mutli-player makes up for it, people usually just play Halo for it's multi-player anyway.

Game play wise this is the best the franchise has to offer. The story not so much. The story is still interesting but it's becoming less and less Halo if that makes sense lol.

As you've probably seen everywhere, this game is getting rave reviews, primarily for the multiplayer. Not a huge arena fan myself, but my kid loves it. Now I just have to find a way to get my TV back.

I am a fan of first party exclusive games because their are the best of the best and Halo is one of only on Xbox 5 star game that always delivers and is moneys worth game well spent.

The campaign was not as long as I was hoping it would be but I still enjoyed playing this game very much. The story line was very exciting and engaging throughout the campaign.

The multiplayer is great, although graphically a little lacking, probably for server reliability. The campaign so far is fun. Definitely better with other friends playing too.

I stopped coming to halo for story a long time ago I had a hard time following it in the past and this one is more of the same. The multiplayer is fantastic modernized and fun.

If you are a fan of the Halo series, this game does not disappoint. It continues the story arch of the first four and introduces new and old characters and sets the series up for another installment.

Overall it's an amazing game, but even with its improvements at the end of the day it still feels like most other Halo games. MP is amazing though and the best in a long time.

The game is good when it comes to online multiplayer but the campaign here in halo 5 is not that great compared to the past halo games but if you like online play its worth it

Game was misleading in thinking that it would be a fight between chief and Locke. Campaign was extremely underwhelming but multiplayer is fun excluding the micro transactions.

I honestly think this was the worst multiplayer halo has put out since the original. But at least the original had one of the best single players. I do like the fact that you can play with 4 people in the co-op campaign, but am not sure the point of choosing a character. It's a game based around master chef and you should be master chef, but that's my opinion. I do like the fact you can mark an enemy, but don't like that its only if you are a leader. However, I realize its more the tell your NCP's what to attack rather then marking it. The NCP's are not really that intelligent. You can be down right next to them and call for them, yet they like to stand there and watch you die. Now as for the multiplayer. My God the req system is horrible. At the very least let me start off with the basic weapon I want. The 2 weapons you start out with are pretty much useless. You mine as well just have a spitballs. ANY weapon you pick up is more powerful than the 2 you start with. You are usually respawned right in front of an enemy, especially when you use a req card that you will lose after death. On top of that, not only do you have to earn the weapons, you also have to reach the level to use them. I absolutely do not like this system. Also, what happened to clans? Can you have more than 4 people in a fire team for multiplayer? I do kind of like the fact that they added NPC's into it. This is all in the warzone. Now arena is a lot different. You still pick up weapons in arena. You don't get as massive feel of a map. It also lets you know when the bigger weapons respawn, which is both good and bad. It lets you know, but then you know everyone will be heading for it and most likely be camping there. There are a few silly things about it that I don't like, like having to unlock symbols, just let me wear the phoenix if I want to....Over all, it is an okay game. An interesting take on a great series. I am sure there will be a lot of people that will disagree with me and that's fine. I have played worse, but for halo, I have definitely played better. Maybe I will grow to like it....Sooo SWBF anyone?

My son and his friends spend lots of weekend hours on this game. They really are enjoying it. They said, they love the graphics and the battles. The kids are recommending this to all other gamers.

I am a big Halo fan! It is probably why I have an Xbox one! I just started playing the campaign and I love it! I love the gameplay where I am commanding a company of soldiers. GREAT GAME!!

I'm not a huge Halo fan and always preferred Gears of Wars campaign in comparison. Halo 5 continues that legacy for me. Some parts to the campaign are ok but I think they really missed the boat by not making the campaign auto join for people who don't always have Halo buddies to play with. The multiplayer is better but I don't love it either. I would say if you're a Halo fanboy you should pick this up other wise get another game to enjoy if you wanted to make this purchase for a great campaign experience. Pass.

Used to be really into Halo, but gradually became more involved with COD. This is possibly the best of the series and the actual FPS perspective is similar to COD, as opposed to Halo I, II, and III.

I picked this game up for christmas for my nephew. He says that the multiplayer is great but the storyline is only alright. I didn't play it myself but it looked pretty fun.
