This game has really taken me back. I bought an X1 just for this game. The multiplayer is reminiscent of the old Halo2 days, and the new WarZone mode is a "hoarders" dream, with the req packs.

I haven't had an opportunity to try single player yet, but the multiplayer is better than ever, in some ways led by the new Warzone mode, which provides more strategy than originally expected.

This is a good continuation of the series. Updated graphics and just as much fun as games in the past. Co-op Halo campaigns have always been and continue to be a blast.

It lacks some of the bungie magic, but the Warzone games are fun, and the game is bug free, and the matchmaking is good. Recommended, but not BEST GAME EVAR or anything.

Pretty good addition to the halo series. It's not nearly as engaging as I thought it would be, but the combat is still fun. And the graphics. The game is just beautiful.

Love Halo 5. Simple as that, from the intro I knew I was hooked. Multiplayer is amazing, they changed quite a lot and made it awesome. Feels smooth as can be, definitely an amazing experience.

Fantastic game! Great multi-player that reminds you of the old games but with a new exciting twist to the Spartans. The campaign is fun but slightly confusing. Overall another great Halo game.

I am very pleased with the graphics on the Xbox one, has high resolution and faster processor. I would highly recommend this console for a serious gamer

Fun game if you like the halo series give it a go. You can't read an opinion and make a decision on whether to purchase the game or not. I do however highly recommend it. It is a fun game.

The campaign for Halo 5 was in all underwhelming, particularly for the story arc. Also, with Cortana being a main character she wasn't even hot in this one. The multiplayer had some new game modes that were fun, such as swat and breakout. Definitely worth it to try both. War zone was another new multiplayer mode, allowing 32 players to play at once. War zone assault was is a lot like headquarters. Good fun and everyone should give it a try. Gave it a 3/5 for the campaign. Multiplayer deserves a 4.

I got Halo 5 for free, when I purchased the Xbox Elite Controller. No idea how that worked out, but can't complain. I was about to buy it anyhow. The game is fun, sucks no split screen tho!

Halo is the Best Game Series by far. I have played this game for many hours and have not gotten bored. Great graphics and story.

This game has a Campaign unlike Battlefront and other new shooters so that is a plus. Free downloadable upgrades are also great. Overall it is exactly what you expect.

For any Halo universe fan this is a must own. Story is just OK tho, but game play controls are tight and response. Multi-player is the the true gem here never has halo been this big and fun.

The campaign was good but I think it was too short, but the story was still okay. You have your usual cliffhangers but the no split-screen co-op was also disappointed.

I originally bought my XBox One solely to continue playing the Halo series, and it felt like forever for this game to come out. Many reviews criticized the game. My friend and I purchased at the midnight release, came back and played it straight through from start to finish. He was disappointed, I was entertained. Long initial download (we had 2 Xboxes downloading at the same time) and the lack of local multiplayer is a bummer. I am in my 30's but still have a weekly "Guy's Night" where we sit on the couch and play Halo. Unfortunately we opt to play the MCC instead of Halo 5 due to that limitation.

Quite a bit different if you're used to Halo 4. But tons of fun nonetheless. If you enjoy the Halo franchise, I guarantee you will spend hours and hours on this game.

Beautiful and fun game, especially with its four player co-op. Tons of modes and maps keep you coming back for more.

The game looks nice and plays solid. But the lack of split screen even though they empathize the co op campaign really sucks.

Great graphics. Nice weapons and can aim with all of them. Beat the game in 2 days without binge playing. Needs more content.
