Best Madden to date. Can't stop playing this game.

Madden is the best football game on the market....

The game has definitely progressed for the better!

It's a great football game, you need to play this.

I love football and need a game to get me on the field during season or even when it's over. Madden has great features such as the commentary but gameplay is still horrible. There are too many bugs such as when you sack a QB and the ball is going towards the floor but since his arm was in forward motion he some how throws the ball to his receiver at some crazy angle.

This madden game is the most realistic with stiff arms and hurdles. Worth every last penny. It now has a career mode. Only this game lacks is the next gen player graphics that UFC 2 and NBA live has from EA but besides that the overall experience is amazing. Fun game to play with friends and improved run game.

The game looks great and my brother really enjoys it, great gift for any (American) football fan

Graphics are hardly an upgrade, if at all. Running seems more difficult, although my buddy disagrees. Passing is so fast you can hardly defend the way you could in 16. I normally try to find positives but I really can't understand how the reviews for this one are so high, 16 was infinitely better, as frustrating as it was in its own right. My overall opinion is the outcome of online matchup comes down to dumb luck on plays so fast you can hardly make a skillful decision, and I was in the top 5% over a year in online matchmaking in 16 so I believe my impression is informed and more or less unbiased. Was hoping for more, now I'm hoping the contract with EA ends sooner so 2K can step in and set a new status quo like they do with NBA games. 3 stars is for changing the music more often, the BS commentators from 16 being no more, and more frequent updates, and I feel that's even too generous of a rating. Gronk on the cover is worthy of 1 star lost on its own, although I didn't do that here. Good riddance EA, catch on to the fact that people will buy your games even if the only thing you changed was graphic improvements, and even that is essentially void here compared to 16. Wish I could be more positive here.

It is a fun game to play. It is not focused enough on the area of the game I like the most.

I've never been a football gamer but I was really hoping this game would change it but it didnt. The gameplay was top notch but the UI in the menus was clunky and franchise mode felt rushed. I also didn't see an option to play as your own personal but not sure if that was added like they did to nhl and fifa. Overall 3 out of 5.

Madden is better than last years. Not as much lag when playing and better graphics.

This is the best madden I've played in years maybe since madden 95 or 98 lol

Madden 17 is a visual masterpiece. The game plays and looks Great.

I really liked the improvements. Fun and involving

Its a bit cumbersome ... It is Madden so it is fun. The problem though comes in as they try too hard to make it real. Ease off some of the little nuances as it becomes to technical as a game. Its a game I want to play it and not have an issue at all with I have to figure it out. I bought it to play and relax not think so much I get a headache .... It it Madden it will be fun just do not make it so technical. The other thing is make the refs call the game the same way for all teams. The teams people like get called for holding less it is a game and my favorite team whenever I hit a big play gets called for holding ... I have taken screen shots of the Favorite Teams holding and it never gets called when the CPU hits a big play. The CPU calls holding on itself when I sacked them so it did not matter anyway ...

Finally seemed to be as fun as it used to back in the PS2/Xbox days. Still a few things from the past that I'd like to have returned, but it is fun to play.

At first the game was a little weird because of the changes. But I'm hooked on it now. Great game definitely recommend others to purchase this years madden.

Game still has some of the things that folks that have played the franchise for a while have complained about forever. Balls getting picked off when they're popped a mile into the air happens way too frequently, this maybe happens a few times throughout the year to a team and week in and week out it happens while playing a season/franchise game. It's a good buy if you like football, but buyer beware it still has it's share of nuisances.
