Played for about 30 minutes, then sold it 2 days later. Just wasn't what i expected.

Graphics could be better and way too much dialog but it's ok

Ok so far but it ain't as good as I thought it would be.

The story is rather well written, and the sound track is a great homage to the era as well. Future patches may correct some of the current issues the game suffers from on the Xbox. There are quite a few random crashes (fixable via patch). The resolution looks like interpolation down scaling, so the game can often look murky or washed out when compared to games that produce a solid 1080p resolution (may be able to append this when the Scorpio drops, due to additional resources?) or potentially it's just running at 900p or lower. Some random frame rate drops during driving and other crowded scenes (optimization patch). The game controls very well, and something to note, the hit and death animations of enemies are more natural to what you would see in an action film. Overall this is a good title, with a great story, it should run smoother as 2k pushes patches, but defiantly a title to pick up, when it reaches your personal price point.

The story is good, gameplay is fun. There are a few things here and there (pop in and frame rate drops etc), but nothing that makes the game unplayable. There is a day one patch at 2.6gb. The open world is pretty cool and each part of town is different than the previous.

The story is great as well as the characters and their backgrounds. Character controls are tight although Ive died a few times with the sticky cover system. Vehicle controls are frustrating only because of the era. Everything mostly controls like a heavy wheeled brick. Graphics are good. Shadows and reflections are very muddy. Sometimes Cars..people..etc (except cutscenes) look like cut outs. Hair is also rendered pretty lousy in game. Rag doll physics from weapons is spot on. Animations vary. Lincoln is animated great and you feel his mass with every punch. lethal finishers are great and never get old. Game soundtrack is pretty good featuring ,Cream, Jefferson airplane, CCR, Rolling Stones, ETC. The Racism narrative is getting really old and i feel 2K wanted too cash in on this.

Exciting time period and protagonist, great shooting and driving mechanics, fantastic story. Surrounded by recycled missions, sub-par visuals, and no fast travel system.

Overall this is an INSANELY fun game and I recommend it to anyone, no game is perfect and isn;t expected to be, but overall Mafia 3 is an excellent time piece open world game. Great music, great gameplay (Mature Content) all wrapped up in an amazing presentation and art design of a time of the past. Developers will address any corrections the game is needed (some bug,glitches)

2k is great , back in the day 2k ran circles around madden , them madden bought out the NFL franchise - hanging out 2K . 2k has always been a serious player in the gaming world . If you like GTA 5 , but to long and at times be difficult . Then mafia 3 is the answer . The game is built and plays EXACTLY like gta 5 . IF you are a gta 5 fanboy , this game is perfect GTA 5 in 1968 ... The graphics are far superior than the majority of titles out right now . The shooter part of game is SPOT ON perfect !!!

First, this game does has a good story and is worth playing but it really looks and feels like a 360 game. The graphics are underwhelming and the controls ,especially the cover button, are extremely wonky. This is a rent first game.

Great graphics the shooting graphics make it so easy to shoot accurately every time. The missions are so fun you get to steal money kill bad guys. The game is some what like gta 5

So much FUN. Story line is semi-original stats true to the classic

It's basically Grand theft auto but mafia style but it has a lot more to offer

It’s sad to see the mafia trilogy fall like this but it’s playable.
