Hard to recommend as a complete game. Lots of fun but something is missing.

Not a huge fan of the series but decided to give this one a try.

This is an amazing game. It's almost like watching a movie at times. Great graphics, cool story, and an awesome semi-open world to explore. I'm new to the series but so far I'm really enjoying this game.

I'm am remembering about the firstmetal gear solid game. I haven't played any since then. I like this one's graphics.

This game is quite different from many of the Metal Gear games that came before, but it is still a great addition to the series. The focus of this game shifts from a story-driven, linear structure to an open world sandbox style. You are given the utmost freedom in choosing how to complete the copious side and main story missions. Many of the missions are similar to the enemy outposts seen in the Far Cry series, but you have even more options for how to tackle them in this game. Stealth is often the best path (this is Metal Gear, after all), but you can go in with guns blazing if you desire. The tight gameplay and expansive arsenal of weapons and gadgets ensure that either is a viable play style. While the missions themselves are fun and thrilling, one of the main draws to this game is Mother Base. Throughout the game, you are given the opportunity to level up your headquarters using resources found in the game world. You can also extract enemy soldiers and equipment to staff Mother Base, so it is often a better strategy to use non-lethal means on your missions. As you level up Mother Base, you are granted access to increasingly useful research projects, which allow you to equip powerful items in the field. In short, this is an excellent game for fans of the Metal Gear series, action games, stealth games, and open world games that give the player options for completing tasks. The missions are well designed, the progression system is rewarding, and the story is interesting (even if it is not as much of a focal point as in previous Metal Gear games). I have only completed about 20% of the game thus far, and I am having a blast with it! I am anxious to see what the rest of the game has in store.

While the plot is lacking and unfinished, the gameplay itself approaches perfection. There are countless tools and toys to use to tackle any mission and you can go through the game as you see fit. Would definitely recommend just to see how great an open world concept can be.

Beautiful graphics amazing story and gameplay. This is a must have for any one who is played this series and most likely in contention for Game of The Year!

The story starts out interesting enough, though somewhat lacking for a Metal Gear Solid game. Second chapter of the game many of the missions feel like repeats of missions from the first chapter with only slight differences. Gameplay is quite enjoyable though.

This game is totally joke, I don't know why they made this game.

As I mentioned in the title, the beginning of this game is soooooo sloooww..... but worth the wait. I wish the environments were a little more diverse but I love the fact that you can go rogue and start shooting up the place and it's not much of a penalty associated in it. The graphics are great and the story is definitely out there but good. LONG LIVE KOJIMA!

Metal Gear has once again reinvented itself to a newer audience and the gaming mechanics are great!

Whether your new to the series or a Metal Gear veteran this is a must have! Definitely check out the Metal Gears Solid - Ground Zeroes. It will give you a sample of what is to come in this Masterpiece! It's not too often I give a game a 10/10 this one has definitely earned it!

The free roaming aspect of this game has changed the gameplay dramatically. Which is great considering the 4th one was heavily dependent on 30min cutscenes. Those looking for a great story may be disappointed though. It leaves a lot of the story to your imagination.

I was so very excited when this game was announced and to find out how well it stood up to my expectations is fantastic. I love the storyline of the Metal Gear franchise, and this game definitely follows suit. Would recommend to anybody.

If you are a fan of MGS then this is a no brainer. The start of the game is intense. Once you get to the sandbox it just gets even better. My only gripe is the horse. I am so sick of horses in games. Cant wait for that trend to go away.

I got this for my son to play after he was done with grueling finals. He has wanted it ever since we found out there is a dog in it. Got it during the Black Friday sales so it was soooooo cheap. Great game!
