Overall the game is great, with intuitive controls and all the stuff one can expect from the Mortal Kombat franchise.

As a game itself, Mortal Kombat X delivers, 100%. While story mode is a little convoluted, and felt significantly shorter than MK 2011, it is absolutely a romp, and the cutscenes are gorgeous. The newcomers to the cast fit right in alongside the legacy characters, for the most part, and the system mechanics, both new and returning, make this perhaps the most interesting NRS game to date. That being said, the netcode will not do you any favors. For those already familiar with the 2011 reboot and/or Injustice, this will come as little surprise. Still though, it's disappointing to see when fighting games live or die by their multiplayer, in an age where people expect online functionality.

This is Mortal Kombat, there's no need for introductions or explanations. You know what I meant. Simply awesome!

The newest version of the MK UNIVERSE is the best looking most exciting version yet. Lots of fun with fatalities.

Great graphics and cinematic elements. The addition of the online factions makes it interesting to play at any time.

This game is technically very impressive. However, it has many things going against it (IMHO). The story is weak and is beatable in a couple of hours. The multiple fighting styles just make the characters convoluted. I don't feel like learning more than a single character.... Finally, the "magic" - nor the humor - of the original games (1-3) just isn't there. Pretty bland, gory, and overall just another average title. Not terrible, but didn't hold my interest for very long. For the avid fighter, however, this could be a "must buy". Just not my cup of tea...

Have always loved Mortal Kombat......the latest version is just as good as the first! Great fun for the family!

This is awesome game and I recommend it to anyone. Once you start playing it's hard to put on the controller .
