I Purchased the right game for the wrong gaming system unfortunately it was nonrefundable so I just had to bite the $20 loss customer service was outstanding as usual

I find completing missions to be too much work. It wasn't easy for me to figure out how to get around the map.

I have played all the NFS games and this game does not compare to Underground or Most Wanted. Graphics are really great but other then that not much to be excited about. You are limited to how much you can customize your cars. The story really lacks any depth and the races become very repetitive. I got this game with the 20% discount for being a gamers club member and now that I have it I would recommend you wait for it to drop to at least $25. Again, it is an ok game but not the best.

This game is pretty terrible....just buy a forza game you will be much happier

Nothing oustanding if compared with previous versions

Not as fun as expected for this series. Could have been better

So far from what I've played this game is pretty good but my only complaint like a lot of people that I saw online when it was released is that it's online only. I personally don't fully mind it but it can be kind of annoying if you want to play but you don't have an Internet connection or at least a stable one. The graphics are very good and I love the cut scenes in the game. I'm not really feeling the story behind it if there even is one. If so I don't really see it too good or maybe it's just not strong enough. The way they can build off this game is making it off-line and adding more than six garage spaces because that's pretty ridiculous.

Be aware of Best Buy Online Service - I ordered this game with 2 other items, showed it would be arriving Nov. 25, in the order menu. After purchasing, the email confirmation said, Nov. 30 arrival date. I called Best Buy customer service and specifically told the guy to cancel which 3 I didn't want. He canceled the one I wanted and these 3 shipped. Returned them and awaiting reimbursement - DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE. BUY IN STORE. This game is great but don't order from ONLINE.

At first this games oozes with potential. Lots of customization and cars. You play for a few hours and get a laugh out of the live action scenes. Then it all starts getting repetitive. Races feel the same and lack variety. Good graphics only take you so far...this game has no soul. The game feels like a shell of what a NFS game should stand for. Traded in after a few weeks.

To start off, this is a good game. It it just not a good "underground" racing game like EA said it was going back to. This game is pretty fun but lacks a lot of what I assumed would have been in the game. The racing in Need for speed was a lot of fun. It is pretty easy to get in and win some races. Also the graphics are top notch and game does look amazing. The cars the game has in it have great detail, plus some pretty cool but limited things to customize. The story is decent enough and cut scenes do look nice, as they are filmed like a movie with real people. Now my issues with the game would make me for sure not purchase it. I was 100% going to buy this ahead of time but lucky me I have the EA Pass and was able to do the 10 hour trail. After the trail I have changed my mind and decided to save my money. Starting off, this game requires it to always be online when playing. I find this funny as there is pretty much zero multiplayer unless you are playing with friends who also have the game. Just like the last Need for Speed title, it is a single player game that happens to have other random players driving around the huge open world, so occasionally you might see one drive by you. There is no option to jump into a game room with your customized car and do sprint races or anything else with random people. The story mode is fine but the actual acting is painful to watch with the words bae, dope, monster energy drinks at every turn, and just making the race community look like idiots. My other issue is that apparently you have loads of customization options.. NOT TRUE! My second vehicle purchase I found this out. I was not able to change the hood, front or rear bumpers, grill, or even side skirts. I was left with one body kit, a spoiler and rims, oh and side fenders. Each area you can change has maybe 2 options such as if the car has the option to change a front bumper, you will have two to choose from. Also the car selection is something around 30 cars if I am not mistaken. I would be fine with the small car selection if I was actually able to fully customize the cars in all aspects rather than a very select few. This was a game I really did wish I liked. This is a fun racing game but again, if you were wanting a game like the older underground series or even Carbon, you will be disappointed. With the lack of any multiplayer, very little customization compared to older underground/carbon games, and annoying acting with too much product placement, this game gets a sad two stars from me. My advice, get the EA pass for five bucks for a month and do the 10 hour trial.

Game was purchased as a gift. My son enjoys all of the Need for Speed titles.

Great to see customization going back to the underground

The newest Need For Speed game is pretty fun but could have been a lot better. Some of the daily challenges can be frustrating like the ones having to do with police chases or "near miss" bonuses because of the lack of traffic on the streets. This lack of traffic makes the races less frustrating because you're less likely to crash into random traffic, but it also makes the city feel lifeless and abandoned, and can pose problems with driving around for a half hour just to find enough other cars to complete daily challenges. The story was pretty well written and i liked the mix of live action video with rendered scenes, and I don't regret playing through the game. I just think it fell a little short from what it was capable of being.

This is a good game in terms of graphics and features but controls seem off even for an arcade racer. Have seen this complaint elsewhere so hopefully it will get fixed via an update at some point.

Amazing graphics and cool paced game and great cars

people keep saying you can only play online. Just go to game settings and click play alone. You shouldn't give bad reviews if you don't know what you're doing. The open world and customizations are great. Best NFS I've played since ps2.
