I never played Ruby or Sapphire when they were released, so I was looking forward to this since they took the engine from X and Y. The story seems pretty different from other Pokemon games because the "bad" guys aren't really bad. They just have different views than you do. The game did not disappoint. It's more Pokemon and that's a good thing.

And yet one more Pokemon game. Do these things ever stop.

Got it after one of the rep in the store recommended it, the game was so boring and no objective for the game. Even my son could not understand or figure out the game, traded in for a different game. Move on....

Pokemon Ruby/Saphire have always been my favorite generation the the Pokemon game series. These remake build upon a already great foundation and create something truly special. The music in this game is the best I've heard, with nostalgic tunes being remixed while still keeping the charm of the original.

I already played through Omega Ruby and I wanted to obtain all of the legendaries and so this game was a must buy! I love the story and the graphics; I believe this is the perfect pokemon game!

Overall, it's sa fantastic game. And it's great to see that Nintendo didn't just release another frame by frame copy of the original, but that they've actually gone the extra mile to keep the original elements in tact while incorporating their latest features. Pros - Mega evolutions are back - Pokemon Amie and online battles are back - Primal revisions add alot of variety to battles! - You can finally actually fly in the game - Maintaining and decorating your own base gives nice variation to the gameplay - The DexNav feature makes looking for rare Pokemon a bit more fun Cons - secret bases are on the small side and can only hold so many items

This was a great addition to my game collection. Was everything I was hoping for and more in a Pokemon game. I have not played a Pokemon game since Pokemon gold on the Gameboy color, and I really enjoy that they have kept to a very similar way of doing things. The improved graphics are great and the sheer number of Pokemon in the game guarantees lots of play time. Enjoying it so far and would definitely recommend.

This version of Sapphire really shines, running on the X/Y engine. It really feels like a brand new game, rather than just a re-tread of the Gameboy Advance title. If you're looking to spend more time trying to catch 'em all, pick this one up. It's a fabulous update to one of the most underrated Pokémon titles.

Nintendo did a great job at remaking the classic gameboy game pokemon blue. The game runs smooth and looks good on the 3ds system. They left nothing out from the original and added a few new legendary pokemon. If your a pokemon fan you probably already own this but if not buy it you will not regret it.

my sons get one of each of the two games available and play against each other to keep them occupied they really enjoy the game

It's a great little remake of one of the weaker installments in my opinion. Added more content and features.

Apparently this game is very good: my son who is a college freshman is playing with this friends all the time. My 22-y.o. teammate is playing this game also. This means this game is interesting not only to small kids, but to the "adult" kids too.

I got this one for kid the red one for my other for x mas , and those are their favorite colors so it works out perfect. Just like Minecraft they put something in these games that just grabs their attention. Excellent game they say though.

This is the next main Pokemon game on 3DS and it's good. I just wish that it had taken more features from Pokemon X & Y (like character customization). However it does have X & Y's great graphics. This game has also updated the old version's secret base system so that you can finds a friend's secret base online. All in all it's a fun sequel to Pokemon X and Y and worth a buy if you're a big fan of the series.

Bought this for my 13 year old Pokémon fan as well as for his friend and they both love it. Not to mention I like to see them play a game that doesn't have excessive blood and violence. This was a perfect Christmas gift.

The fact that you can catch Deoxys in the game now without doing an event was motive alone to get it. And Hoenn was my least favorite region...

The game is now more interesting with better graphic and more game plays, secret routes and fun things to discover throughout the game.

Another excellent remake off an older Pokemon game. It brings along the updates of Pokemon X&Y and brings more to the table. Very fun!

I've been playing it non stop for a week and it only gets better and better. Definitely a must have for your 3DS collection.

i enjoyed every second i played with this game. it has a huge world to explore. i loved the adventure and story!
