This game is amazing If your a real Ratchet fan you won't be disappointed. Great weapons and plenty of action. Story is solid. Classic Rachet. Brought back so many memories of me playing Ratchet and Clank on PS2. This game is a must buy if you have PS4!!

Ratchet & Clank for PS4 is a brilliant re-imagining of the original Ratchet & Clank that was released back in 2002 on the PS2. This isn't a high definition update, but a complete overhaul and a re-telling of the story of Ratchet & Clank's beginnings. It's a hybrid platformer/adventure/third person shooter that has top notch voice acting and plenty of great humor. And as a bonus, it's a game that appeals to all ages - something that's hard to find. I played it for an hour or two a day for about two weeks straight before finally completing the main story and enjoyed it so much that I plan on giving it a second play through in the future. If you've never played a Ratchet & Clank game, this is the perfect time to give it a shot and find out why it's one of PlayStation's most beloved franchises.

I never played the original PS2 version, so this was my first time experiencing Ratchet and Clank. It was a gorgeous game, with lots of humor and unique weapons. Highly recommended.

I loved the original and I have to admit that I didn't want to invest time and money into a remake. But man is it worth it! Beautiful graphics and the story is still engaging and fun! I just started playing so I can't write too much about how the game develops or any glitches but I'm surprised how much the new graphics improve the game. I thought I would be nostalgic for the old version but... I'm not! This is certainly worth it. At the same time if you love and have the old version(s) and money is tight, I could see holding off and purchasing a completely new game.

3-D platformers are a rarity these days, especially well received and popular ones. With the new Ratchet and Clank game, this nearly forgotten genre will hopefully be propelled back into the spotlight. The gameplay is phenomenal, the story is humorous and mostly fun, and the cast of characters are a riot to play with. This definitely reminded me of my younger days playing the older Ratchet and Clank games along with the likes of Sly and Jak and Daxter. A great game for any age and any person.

I beat this game to platinum because I was having so much fun with it. First of all, this game is beautiful. The graphics look straight from a Pixar movie with no bug or framerate drops at all. Gameplay is awesome as usual. I would recommend this to anyone with kids or anyone who wants some nostalgia from back when R&C first came out almost 15 years ago. The story of the original is being told from a different perspective, adding some differences to the game that make it that much more enjoyable.

Fun, but sometimes difficult platforming sections. There is a huge variety of weapons in this game. The funny story telling rounds out this reboot of this series.

The nostalgia is real. If you played the original, and the PS3 version, you'll truly enjoy the PS4 rendition. A bit more humor injected into the storytelling, especially for the game, based on the movie, based on the game. Some 4th wall breaking, but guaranteed box breaking for hours of fun in glorious HD. Just buy this game if you are a R&C fan, you won't be sorry.

This was my first game in the series. My friend always begged me to play the older ones but I never did. So when I saw this new game being an essential reboot of the series I decided to jump on it! So glad I did. I loved this game so much. awesome gameplay. funny jokes. and just a good time all around. I played until I got the platinum trophy

Never played the original but this game is pure fun. It looks amazing, has great writing, clever weapons. This is how a game should play, look, and feel once finished. Pick this game up, it's fun for all ages, and again, looks amazing!

I wasn't a big Ratchet and Clank fan but this remake won me over. Great visuals, fun controls, very fun game. And the great think is that they didn't try to rob people by charging $60 for the game. Either way, this is a great PlayStation exclusive platformer for anyone of all ages.

The word "remake" usually has a bad connotation or lowered expectations in general. Fortunately, Ratchet & Clank entirely curbs that stereotype, and is easily one of the finest examples of how to do a remake. It's rebuilt from the ground up: it PLAYS like a classic, but looks like it belongs at the forefront of the modern era. When that visual appearance just so happens to be a cartoon-based style, points have to be awarded for the obvious tons of tender-loving-care bringing it to life in an industry that's all about visual realism. Throw on the reduced price tag along with its enticingly replayable campaign, and it stands as the rubric for remakes. It does have a couple of niggles that could have been avoided like the framerate dips when trying too hard, and the unnecessarily forced Saturday morning cartoon humor that wears out its welcome. Still, any PS4 owner that even has a passing love for platforming owes themselves this purchase.

This game is just pure fun. If you are an adult, kid or have a child this is appealing to everyone. 3D platformer with a ton of imaginable weapons. The graphics are unbelievable, Pixar quality. Very snarky, family friendly humor. Also launched at a very affordable price.

This was such an absolute blast to play. I had heard good things about the game and the previous ones, but I was new to the series. Fun gameplay and well written story. Can not beat the price on this one too. Has loads of replay value. A must purchase in my opinion!

I recently got this for my sons to introduce them to the ratchet and clank games I like how it’s a tie in to the movie and at the same time it’s not not to mention the graphics that are really good insomniac games has done it again! Would definitely purchase this game again.

What an amazing reboot to such a FUN game. Excellent 3D platforming, truly funny humor, gorgeous graphics, and tight gameplay. I cannot wait for them to do a new one on the PS4, this improved upon the already-excellent original in every way.

This game is beautiful almost reaching pixar like quality. It is extremely polished with very few bugs. It runs extremely smooth and keeps you entertained throughout. The game is not afraid to make fun of itself which is just awesome and refreshing. OMG the GUNS are amazing and as destructive as ever! The Pixelizer is the standout here with its ability to turn every single enemy into you guessed it pixels. If you have a PS4 this is a must have for old fans and new ones alike.

If you grew up on Crash Bandicoot and then you searched for its replacement well now you've found it. Ratchet is fun with multi-verse weaponry proving that the little guy with the heart (and a robot pal) can save the galaxy.

The game is a beautiful walk down memory lane. As someone who has played the original and it's direct sequel, I was smiling from ear to ear playing this new remake. It is an absolute joy and fun from start to finish.
