Should be required playing for any self respecting PS4 owner. Do yourself a favor and grab it. Looks amazing, controls are spot on and is very fun to play. A classic that shouldn't be missed and a steal of a price.

Ratchet and Clank captures the magic of the classic but adds an impressive new coat of paint. The Pixar-like visuals bring the crazy off-the-wall weapons to life. This is a must buy title for PlayStation 4 owners.

The game is amazing pure and simple. You will love the guns, gameplay, and the graphics are straight out of the pixar level movie (literally). The only problem that I had with this purchase was that the game arrived with a totally smashed case. After seeing my purchase in pieces, it was apparent that this happened in the distribution center. I instantly sent an angry email to Best Buy, who refunded my money and let me keep the surprisingly unscratched disc. All in all the game is amazing, as is Best Buy's customer service.

This games by far exceeded my expectations. The game play is very smooth and has the humor you would expect for a ratchet game. Had me laughing from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I picked up this game shortly after release. It's a highly enjoyable reboot of the original Ratchet & Clank game, just redesigned a bit for a new generation of gamers. If you're a fan of the Ratchet & Clank franchise, or just humorous platformers, you'll likely enjoy this game.

If you've played the classics, this will definitely take you back and let you revisit some of those fun memories. Still has that same old ratchet and clank feel fans love, but delivers it in a fresh, up-to-date way. Watching the movie and playing the game together would bring the full experience and I'm positive that's what the creators intended (hence the $40 price tag). Looked like some of the cut scenes were a little rushed in game, but that's where I believe the movie comes in. So, it's a no-brainer if you have any good memories tied with the franchise. It also makes a great welcome for any new players.

I love this series, so I was thrilled to have it back. Now this is a remake/reboot, so it does follow the broad strokes of the initial game way back in 2002. But it does so having incorporated 14 years of progress in gameplay, graphics, and storytelling to punch up the narrative. Plus, it's only $40! When was the last time a Triple A studio dropped a trademark game for less than $60 (or more with DLC)? It is absolutely worth your money, especially if you love any of the previous games in the series, clever platformers, or quirky Pixar-esque humor.

This is a total remake of the very first Ratchet and Clank on the PlayStation 2 and they did a fantastic job with this. Visuals look stunning, the gameplay is very fun, and the characters have that sense of humor that has me chuckling throughout the game. If you're a one and done type of person like me and put it away after beating it, this game is pretty short. So I think this is a fair price for the game for how long it is. If they remake the other ones down the road, I'll definitely be buying them!

The Ratchet and Clank reboot is not as good as the original. The character interaction between Ratchet and Clank, the humor, and the development is just not there. I mean they hardly ever banter with each other. Ratchet has been cleaned up and is a goody two-shoes. I miss the surfer bro, lazy Ratchet who makes jokes. I would skip this and play the original and then go ahead and play Rift Apart. The gameplay isn't terrible, but the controls are a lot more refined in the sequel Rift Apart and plays much better. I also have not seen a game have such a disparity between the in-game scenes and the cutscenes since Call of Duty 3 on the PlayStation 2. The game graphics are good enough, but I guess this was a cost saving measure. It is jarring to say the least.

I've been a fan of the ratchet and clank games since the PS2 days. I love the characters and the gameplay has always been fun to me. One of the great things of this ratchet and clank game is that now I get to relive all those great memories with my five year old. The game is entertaining enough for a child to play and hard enough to give an adult a challenge. The Storyline is excellent and the graphics are very immersive. I recommend everyone who likes ratchet to play this game as well as watch the movie

This is a game with a ton of weapons, beautiful graphics and a above average story. Definitely not a game I thought I would like, but I find myself actually looking forward to playing it once I get out of work.

Fantastic re-imagining of the first game with elements of the movie coming soon. Great comedy, gameplay and story. Loving it!

I've only rented the original 2002 Ratchet & Clank and played very little of any of the games that followed it, but I loved this game. Based on the movie of the same name, this game is a retelling of the 2002 game. Skip the movie because the game has many scenes from the movie and expanded plot. Great gameplay and amazing visuals make this a MUST BUY!

The movie and game are not similar enough for them both to be amazing. The movie has many things missing or changed that were included with the game. There were many entire worlds missing from the movie. Basically the game is amazing and the movie isn't. Don't expect the game to play the same as the movie expect it to be much much better.

Exactly what you'd want from the latest iteration of a classic game series. Same great gameplay. Same fun characters. Great new graphics paired with the latest Playstation console make for a beautiful game to look at. The design of the levels is distractingly gorgeous. A fun, sci-fi action adventure game for all to play over and over again. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

This is one of the best Rachet Games every made. Fun and easy to play.

The new Ratchet and Clank is a remake and re-imagining of the classic PS2 original. The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is as good as it has been in the series. The lower price is not indicative of the game's length and both parents and children will get a lot of value out of the many levels and minigames included.

This has to be one of the better looking games on the PS4. Also, it is loads of classic, cartoony fun and boasts literally some of the best animation that I've ever seen in a video game. Incredible feelings of nostalgia. Must buy. Look up a video of the Pixelator gun and your purchase decision will be made for you.
