I expected a bit more but it's a little entertaining

As a fan of the franchise and past games I knew walking in this being an older version would have poorer graphics than BF2 but a better story. Kinda disappointed with EA's approach to game play though. I've pulled it from my console after two days play.

Games ok no hardcore mode but the to actually fly is fun

Our 8yr old just hasn't gotten interested in this game.

I like RPG games. I was hoping this would have a cool story mode and be able adventure through the game. NOPE! Lots flying/driving with specific missions, then on to the next one. Just not a game for me, too bad, cuz I LOVE Star Wars.

Great graphics some online modes are fun like walker assault but I will tell you if you're prepared to pay 110.00 for the full game good luck because this game was chopped in half and resold as a required Season Pass if you plan on playing the full game you better be ready to fork out over a 100.00 to get the full game. I returned this game back since it's on most websites for 48.99 plus I played and almost feel asleep. It's only has 4 maps on walker assault for 60.00 that's a waste of money. Very disappointed in this game. This should be a free to play game not chopped up into DLC and rolled out as a half game then you have to fork over what the game is worth to get the full game. I would never again buy a game that is mission more than half the content and arcade style and boring game play.

My take on Star Wars Battlefront probably differs than a lot of others. I'm not really a mutli-player guy. I don't play the yearly installment of whatever MP "warfare" game is out and I rarely play co-op games. So, Battlefront is a nice change of pace from the single-player world I'm used to. It may have similar modes as other online shooters as some have mentioned, but I don't mind since I haven't played them thousands of times before. I've never played a Star Wars game that made me feel like I was a part of the universe until now. The graphics look absolutely stunning, the sound is immersive, and the controls are tight. Running around on Hoth with 39 other players is insanely fun. Tie Fighters scream above, while blaster fire fills the screen. The single-player modes are fun for a breather now and then, but there is no campaign/story mode. I get about 30-45 minutes out of each “survival” map #there are 4 for now#. There are also a few training missions, but they’re pretty short #5-10 minutes each#. As for paid DLC, I'll decide when more information is released. Buy it or don't...I'm not in the camp that feels like it's "ruining gaming." I'm having a great time with it; 4 stars. Any Star Wars fan should pick this game up.

I tried this game despite know there wasn't a campaign/story mode since I enjoy Star Wars; however, I was disappointed with the solo play of the game as a result of not having that story mode.

Even if you're not a massive Star Wars fan it's still difficult not to fall in love with the atmosphere that this game provides. Though the game can be a tad chaotic at times it does not diminish the enjoyment of experiencing these epic battles, regardless of how many times you may have died at the hands of an AT-ST. Graphically, this game stands out from most of the games in my PS4 library. It just looks stunning to say the least. The sounds are also on point to the series, really giving you a sense of nostalgia as you venture through one of the many detailed maps. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is I can't stand games already trying to shove DLC down your throat day 1, even when it has yet to release any of said DLC. And though the rebels usually feel underwhelming compared to the empire, I didn't mind this too much as it just felt true to the series. Little flaws here and there, and pretty much an online only game with an optional horde mode that you can play offline. Still can't recommend this game enough though.
