Customers are saying

Customers love the stunning graphics and fun multiplayer modes in Pre-Owned Star Wars Battlefront. Many also praise the game's ease of use and the enjoyable action, finding it a great value for the price. However, some feel the game lacks sufficient content, a substantial campaign, and a wider variety of maps.

Alright, here it is the anticipated star wars battle front. As many may know this was something most of us star wars fan were waiting for. I love this game for the graphics, the sounds, the controls, gameplay, it is satisfying! However, I see why they didn't include the single player campaign but still. The lack of any story only makes that much harder to justify the price tag. Plus season pass? Come on. I love the game but don't want to spend more to only get some few things that MIGHT enhance my user experience. Honestly though its still a good collection to any gamers library.

I understand that people who live and die for Battlefield or Call of Duty may find this game simple and not as demanding as they wish, but as a fan of both prior Battlefront games and Star Wars, I love the environments you play in and the gameplay. Simple gameplay that doesn't seem to lend itself to memorizing maps and repetitive tactics is appreciated. The game doesn't seem dominated by expert players, since the auto-aim is so forgiving. You're not getting picked off by a great sniper in a great lookout spot. Enough variety in game modes to keep me entertained.

    Not Like the PC Version

Much to my dismay, I was disappointed to find out that in order to play online you have to join a club and pay an additional fee. In addition, the game play is nothing like the PC version I used to play years ago when battlefront first came out. I do not know if the current PC version has changed.

Great game for beginners at 1st person shooter

I've always been more of sports game type player and never been big on 1st person shooter type games. Since I'm not a total gamer and don't spend all my free hours playing video games, I hardly ever play online. The few times I played online with the ps3, I didn't stand a chance and lost games in record time. I bought the ps4 on impulse around Christmas time b/c what they were offering was really to good to pass up. After talking with a co-worker who is a gamer, he really likes this game. It was on sale in the playstation store for $23 so I decided to buy it over the weekend. It is very hard to me and frustrating b/c I have no clue with what I'm doing. But each day I play it, I am getting to understand how to play it better. This is a great 1st person shooter game for beginners like myself when playing online. The two multiplayer games I play online the most, you have about 20 people on your team. My best record to date was 4 kills & 18 deaths. lol I am ranked very low so I don't do much damage but I get points for playing and extra points for being on the winning team. So you can still raise your rank for sucking at the game and get points to buy bigger and better guns. You can also toggle from 1st to 3rd person while in play. Even though people complain about this game not having a campaign mode, that really doesn't bother me. They have enough different types of games you can play offline to entertain yourself or play with a friend on split screen. It is basically to train and perfect your skills. That way when you do play online, you are killing more than you are dying. Or when flying, you aren't killing yourself b/c you crashed. I kill myself a lot when flying and you don't get credit for a kill when you blow up a Walker doing a kamikaze. If you never played 1st person shooters like me and want to learn, I think this game is a perfect game to learn. I'm not sure I would pay $60 for the game but I don't like paying $60 for any game. This was a steal for me at $23.00

Most Authentic Star Wars game to date

If you are looking for the most authentic Star Wars game then this is the one with gorgeous visuals and superb sound quality. This game really engages you in heart racing combat we have grown to love from the movies. However its apparent that the Title was stripped of content to cater to the $50 season pass. If you really enjoy the title then expect to shell out near $110 for this game for full content. Other then that its a fantastic Star Wars FPS that lives up to the name.

    Bringing back a classic

    Posted .

This game brings back the classic Battlefront series to next gen consoles. First, the graphics are truly amazing. Online play is fluid with a variety of fun modes and opportunities to play as heros/villains or operate vehicles to mix it up. The survival mode is basically the same as exo-survival in CoD AW, though perhaps with less variety of adversaries and lacking challenges along the way. The classic battles against the AI are fun, but online play is really where its at. Control of movement, especially when flying, is much easier than some other games (e.g. those who found flying in Battlefield 4 frustrating will be able to have have a fun time flying in Battlefront without crashing or getting shot down after only 5 seconds). Overall, a fun game and very simple/easy to play.

This game has pretty fun multiplayer. Heroes vs Villains is my favorite mode. It's fast paced and the actual battles don't last more than few minutes. You are rewarded for good play with spawns as the marquee player like Luke & Vader. The campaign is a bit lacking in this game, but i expect there will be DLC to address that. There isn't quite as much replay as a game like Halo, but definitely enough to justify purchase. Especially if you are a Star Wars fan.

    Star Wars Fans Must

I feel like I'm being pulled into the movie and the action is non stop full of excitement at every turn. Being able to be taken back to my childhood is a marvelous wonder at that. I go to a galaxy far far away and come into like a trance like state in which I truly feel unreal. The graphics are bar none, the lasers, X Wings flying by the ATAT's stomping by is just too much for the senses to handle at times and I find myself in shock to where I can't physically move and thus get lit up like a Christmas tree but I die with a smile on my face unlike other FPS's. If you are a Star Wars fan go out and grab right away, if not stick to COD or Rainbow Six.

    Shallow Star wars experience

Walker Assault is fun. The other modes are mostly throwaway. Only 4 locations. I feel EA called them locations to trick the buyer, but in reality there are only 4 maps. Star wars for me is all about story. EA Dice didn't even bother to try. Graphics are good and the sound is amazing, but the overall lack of content and no single player campaign make it difficult to recommend. Still a neat, albeit short experience that quickly gets repetitive. Lacks the depth of DICE's prior battlefield games. There are better, more content rich shooters out there that will keep you busy until the price drop. Season pass is 50 bucks. I won't be buying it. I was hoping EA would follow in the footsteps of Ubisoft and 343 Industries, who are offering DLC at no charge for Rainbow Six Siege and Halo 5 to keep the user base intact. Recommend at 30 bucks or less.

EA has created a Star Wars Battkefront game us fans have wanted, with original sounds, score, realistic environments, and impressive graphics. Unfortunately, the game does and feels like it lacks content. I think EA did a really bad move releasing a great potential game by making the consumer wait for the Season Pass and purchasing it.

Im really disappointed with this one

I had such high hopes with this one and unfortunately they blew it. All the things that made the first and second battlefront great were completely left out of this game. There is no campaign, no space battles, you need to find power ups on the map to get a vehicle or become a jedi, and the lack of content for being a online only multiplayer game is just terrible. I mean being an online only game isn't all that bad but if your going to make a game like that you really need to have lots and lots and lots of levels, characters, weapons, vehicles, jedi, and just content period. This game seriously lacks content for being an online multiplayer only game and although there are survival "missions" they are basically you beat them once and then never play them again since they really get old fast. Overall this game was a huge let down and honestly they should have just made a remake of the second battlefront instead.
