Customers are saying

Customers love the stunning graphics and fun multiplayer modes in Pre-Owned Star Wars Battlefront. Many also praise the game's ease of use and the enjoyable action, finding it a great value for the price. However, some feel the game lacks sufficient content, a substantial campaign, and a wider variety of maps.

    Great graphics but shallow gameplay

Great gameplay and graphics but lacks depth. It's a game where what you see is what you get. No campaign. Characters have basic customization in changing faces. Weapons are not customizable. Cards are randomly placed and assist the player. Still a good game but could be much better.

    Fun online "arcade-y" type game!!!

If I could i would give this game a 3.5, but I'm rounding up because a 3 would be too low. The game is really pretty. One of the best looking games for the current gen systems! But it feels very unfinished. Like to meet deadlines they cut story minor gameplay details. The upgrade system is a bit too curved to "grinding" meaning you need to play hours and hours and hours of the game to be able to get the good gear for this game. That said; this is Star Wars!!! From the sound effects of the blasters to the whir of the lightsabers you know what universe you're playing in! I'm hoping there will be some Destiny style support in the future where they add/rework a lot of stuff as the game ages. With the $50 (outrageously priced) DLC they better be supporting this game hard. Meanwhile, having a blast playing online with friends and I can't really complain too much as this is the type of gameplay I enjoy. 20 on 20 battles are pretty amazing and a heck of a good time!

fun to play, just hoped for more

Overall my feelings on Battlefront are mixed. My impressions are much like many others who feel the graphics are fantastic and gameplay enjoyable, but the game itself is limited, particularly if you like to play by yourself instead of using online multiplayer. Knowing that a $50 season pass gets you the rest of the game leaves a bad taste in your mouth after already spending $60 on this disc. I'm just getting back into playing video games after over 5 years and am still coming to terms with how the industry has changed in that short time. For causal gamers though who just want a fun, straightforward, good looking Star Wars game to play by themselves or with a few friends on a weekend for a few hours should be happy with this version of Battlefront.

It's Battlefield for the Star Wars fans!

This game is downright fun, I can literally spend hours upon hours playing it. It feel like a Battlefield game, with a Star Wars skin. I highly recommend it to anybody with likes FPS or is a Star Wars fan. And to all the people bashing it due to it's lack of a story mode, Dice is currently working on a offline/ story mode add-on. So chill, this game will only get better in time. Just like Battlefield 4 did.

    Slightly flawed but great game

Pros: Fantastic graphics. Makes you feel as though you're inside a star wars movie. A big thrill flying X-wings, tie fighters, and playing as your favorite star wars characters. Terrific multiplayer, which is where the fun of this game really lies. Cons: Feels incomplete. The Season Pass for this game is almost a necessity as it seems to include the missing pieces that should have come with the disc itself. Still, very much recommended.

The graphics are really good and it's a solid 60 frames per second. Just curious about how much content is going to be with the season pass

My boys and I really enjoy playing this game. I really like it for my 7 year old which really isn't that good at FPS games. This game seems to have kind of dumbed it down so everyone can play it. This is the first game he really can play and enjoys playing it. I love FPS and flying games, this has both.

I don't recommend for local play

I was ecstatic about preordering and buying this game. It has lost the spirit of Battlefront 1 & 2, which were two of my favorites all-time. No campaigns in this version. No story. The real kicker was that (let's be real) the most exciting part about playing this game was to fly the Millennium Falcon either playing by myself or with my nephew at my house, who doesn't own a PS4. You can't do that. Slave 1, Boba Fett's ship, was exciting too. Haven't even seen either one in play. You HAVE to be willing to only play online, with a paid PlayStation Plus membership, to even access these features. You can't even do dogfights or aerial battles outside the dirt-simple, single-difficulty training mode unless...you guessed it...you have a paid membership and are willing to play online multiplayer. Honestly, 80% of this game is unavailable to you if you don't want to play online. I miss the days of mastering battlegrounds, ground tactics, space battles, and campaigns just by myself or with a good friend. If you want to play online, more power to you. I have no beef with the membership - PS+ does have some good perks when I had it - but based on other reviews on EA's sites, I am definitely not alone when it comes to just simply liking to play the computer or against one friend in splitscreen. My nephew and I were really looking forward to playing this game together, but I personally would rather spend my money on other things than a PS+ membership. I really don't appreciate how limited the value of this game is if you prefer to game solo or locally. Multiple friends of mine have decided not to buy this game because online gaming just isn't how they play. Just wanted people to know this before shelling out!

Great looking but light on content

I had fun with Battlefront while I played it, I just ran out of things to do. The gunplay is fun if simplistic but it's still very satisfying to kill enemies and play as the Jedi or Sith heroes. I was disappointed that there was no single player campaign at all, and the single player coop missions are very underwhelming. After another $50 worth of Season Pass it might end up being a really fun game, but right now I felt like it was just too light on content to hold my attention for long.

The game plays like butter. Graphics are top notch. With a few more weapons and some DLC, this game will be amazing. Didn't live up to the launch day price.

If you're looking for a gorgeous game where you can experience Star Wars themed epic battles, then you've found what you're looking for. If you're looking for a deep FPS with loads of replay value, maybe look elsewhere. Either way, this game has been a ton of fun for me thus far.

Great Arcade style shooter. Just pick up the controller and play. Gigantic battles on 4 Worlds. Take down a Walker on Hoth? Battle back against the Rebels on Endor, Fly slave one versus the Falcon. You can do it all. Beautiful lighting and gameplay. A must for any Star Wars Fan.

    Lack of content

Great Visuals, Lacks content, feels like any other first person shooter except with more laser. I would wait till it drops in price if you do decide to buy it. Ive spent approx 1 hour on non multiplayer stuff and if feels like filler content. Multiplayer is fun but nothing new you haven't played. play cod or battlefield and turn on a star wars soundtrack for a similar vibe.

Star wars is awesome. There is no doubt about that. But with the early release of this game there is barely any content included in the game. A single player campaign mode that lasts about 45 minutes. No story plot. Multiplayer is fascinating but tends to become tedious after about an hour. Not much variety. Probably once all of the DLC is released the game will become more fun but until then, wait for a combo pack with all of the DLC to be included.

Great multi player action online or split screen. Lots of future potential with season pass but the extra cost sucks. No campaign no five star.

Not the biggest Star Wars fan, but was hooked right out of the box! Graphics look amazing. Gameplay is pretty standard and straight forward for an FPS. Definite must as for a Star Wars fan or just any multiplayer in general.

My son is 7 and he loves this game, he plays the single player mission challenges mostly and has a blast doing those. I played the online portion as well and it is pretty fun shooter that is easy to get the hang of.
