Game is amazing as both a star wars simulator and a shooter. Only downside is the DLC, which costs almost as much as the game itself. That being said, I am still buying the DLC.

The game is basically a first person shooter in various settings. You can compete to achieve objectives but there is no long-running career mode to accomplish.

Not enough class customization such as call of duty games. It gets boring after a while. Original battlefront game was so much better

This is what I have been waiting for since the original. The amount of awesome in this game is galactic in size and scope. Sure not really any single player to speak of but that's not why I bought it. All the different maps and characters/ customization is just killer,

Battlefront is a good game but it is missing single player. It is mostly online. This is fine with me but I wish it wasnt $60. I recommend buying this if it was on sale for around the $30 mark. Dont get discouraged when you first start. Everyone will have better weapons than you. Just keep playing and level up. You will catch up in no time.

Purchased Star Wars™ Battlefront™ - for Xbox One as a gift. Played the game later and enjoyed the graphics and sound quality. I also enjoyed the story line.

Despite not having a solo campagne this is a pretty good game and its getting better with all the new expansion packs coming I do recommend getting the season pass with it

There's nothing wrong with it per se BUT it does not live up to it's potential and the promise of those before it. Pretty, though.

Got this as a gift and my birthday, amazing grafics, able to play single or with a group of friends. Great price too!!!

Graphics are amazing, controls are good, what killed it for me is the game does not have a story mode and it misleadingly lists the game as having split screen co-op but it is only for one mode of game play that has very few missions to play. This game caters to online match type gamers only, don't expect a story or to sit next to a friend and play! It's join a match and shoot stuff only. Sold my copy after a week

The game is definitely not as good as the previous battle fronts; however, the game looks beautiful and is fun most of the time.

If you like playing on line games, this is a good one. On top of being a first person shooter you can also fly xwings and tie fighters. So there is a lot of variety in the game. Not good if you like single player, definitely worth it if you like playing online.

my only complaint about this game is the little to none story mode. Good game filled with epic battles! totally worth the buy!

If you're into Star Wars, you'll enjoy it. I think there are better games out there that provide a better experience, but if you're a big Star Wars fan, can't go wrong.

Star Wars Battlefront has some good, fun, points. Overall, it seems to be pointless and endless. The characters seem stiff. Should have taken advice from COD and Halo.

I like star wars but the game seems repetitive you just keep doing the same thing over and over no story line and no campaine

Great game. Wish it didn't take so long to take out an enemy but it is by far the best Star Wars game yet. More for multiplayer. Wish it had more of a story line mode

Not only did George Lucas break my heart with the prequel Star Wars trilogy, but EA did too promising a next gen version of a great game. Star Wars Battlefront on the OG Xbox had more features and was more fun than this game. If you want a gloriously detailed, super accurate, movie quality Star Wars game this is it. But if you want those things with great shooting mechanics and fun multiplayer look elsewhere. I had high hopes for this game because I'm such a fan of the EA Battlefield series and I wanted some of what makes that series so good to make its way into this game. What they ended up with is a bland game hindered by odd timed bonuses or hidden mechanics that make you feel like there's not a lot of influence you have over whether your team wins or loses. Guns feel like there's not a lot of difference between them and some game play modes feel like generic, tacked on bloat to make the game worthy of full price. They've addressed a lot of these issues in subsequent updates, but let's hope they really figure the formula out for Star Wars Battlefront 2 this fall.
