Pro - This is a great game for Multiplayer with friends on the go and the ability to play it anywhere makes it a major plus Cons - Online Multiplayer Lag - story mode is bland - lack of content

I have played for a couple of friends locally and it is just as fun as it used to be. We had a problem trying to get 4 people to play because we chose local play instead of multiplayer. Local play only allows 2 plays per switch, where as multiplayer is 4.

The Co-Op campaign is worth it alone as long as you have someone to play with. The price is a bit much when factoring that the Xbox Live version of Bomberman was only $20 back then. Online is mediocre, but I believe this game is best played locally.

Bomberman has always been a fun game. They kept the feel of the OG Bomberman, and made it more interactive and multiplayer friendly. May be easier to play with 2 full controllers, instead of the split Joycons. Overall, we love it and enjoy it.

There was a limited selection of games with the switch, but luckily a classic like Bomberman was one of them. The mechanics are mostly the same with some new features. Definitely something that will hold you over and keep everyone entertained!

Purchased this as part of Best Buy’s Black Friday deals at a great price! It is a birthday gift for my cousin. It is exactly what he asked for, and I’m excited that it was at a reasonable price.

Bomberman R is a great game for groups of people. Fun for all ages and even solo missions are exciting and fun to play. Easy to understand. Takes a bit to get use to the controls. Stages are a bit hard to see at times but still enjoy the game.

While I loved older iterations of this game, the classic 4 direction movement of multiplayer does not lend itself well to a control stick. Being able to play with a game pad would make the game play smoother. That being said, it is a fun game.

If you have ever played bomber man games, you will enjoy this game.

The game is good but kind of short. They are doing regular updates that improve it but my one complaint is you can't do 4 players on campaign only 2. Although multiplayer you can if you want to just blow each other up which is always fun.

Great game was a old nes game in the 80's it is still a hard game.

The game itself is okay, nice to have a new Bomberman game in the states. Should have been a cheaper eshop game though, not worth a full release price. Not a ton of content here, but if you are itching for a Bomberman game it'll scratch it.

Bomberman is one of those series that’s been around forever and seemingly fell off the map when Konami bought hudsonsoft. I was very interested in playing a new entry on my switch and was not disappointed. If you’re looking for a deep experience go elsewhere as this is pretty much what you see is what you get. What you get is a nice throwback game and I really love it though I realize it’s not for everyone.

I like this game for its simplicity to play, but the story is about as strong as a Saturday morning cartoon. Very sure this was marketed for the young, cause my nephew loves it. So if you have a kid on your Switch, give Bomberman a shot.
