I bought this game for my 6 year old the game is so great and fun that i bought a 3DS and the game to play against my son and is fun.

My son said this game was a must. He played it with all his friends. You can join it to other controllers and play it with friends.

The series returns on a handheld device for the first time, and it delivers on the classic game play you know and love. All the old favorites are here with some fresh new comers. Some of the characters feel like clones of others and the only real downfall of the game is when there are 4 characters on screen it can be difficult to see where you are.

Smash Bros. for the 3DS is faster than Brawl, and smoother than Melee. The handheld's analog nub can be inaccurate at times, but not enough that it will deter you from jumping into an online match. And those online matches are fantastic. Hardly any lag, unlike Brawl. Hopefully future updates add more options to the online mode with friends, but most people won't mind thanks to the plethora of single player and local multiplayer options. If online play is a deal breaker, you will be pleased at the ability to play with friends. The only negative to take away from the experience is you will notice your analog nub start to become loose from hammering on it so much. I don't play to hard with it as I have a deft touch after years of Smash, but it is still starting to feel loose from the nearly 10 hours of time I've put in. That could be a major issue if you plan on playing a lot, and one that does have me slightly worried. Anywho, this is the best iteration of the series (that may change when the Wii U version comes out), and all fans of the series need to pick it up. If you're on the fence about it or new to the series, you'll be able to jump right in at your own pace; it's not a punishing fighter. Happy smashin'.

If you ever wanted a portable smash bros. game, this is it. It is a unique fighting game and so much fun to play.

I already have this game on the WiiU, but I liked it so much that I got it on the 3DS as well so I could bring it around with me.

If you like the Super Smash series you would like this tittle for the 3DS as well. Excellent to play on the go!

Great game for many different age groups, a must buy when not sure what to gift has a little of everything meaning character wise.

All that needs to be said. Played multiple fighting games on multiple portable systems. Nintendo once again makes one of the best.

You can't go wrong with any Smash Brothers game, so it's a great game!!! And the fact you can take it with you is even better!!!

Even if you have the Wii U version, this is still worth picking up for portability, and entirely new arenas to fight in. Grab it!

Bought this for my son for Christmas. 2+ months later he's still playing it. I can't say that for most of the other games I buy!

I would recommend super smash bros for Nintendo DS, kids can connect with their friends and are able to play together via wifi.

I have this on wii u and waste plenty of my life on it bought it for 3ds for my nephew and he does the same lol great game

This is by far the best game on the 3DS if you own a 3DS you need this game. If you don't have it you are doing something wrong!

1st time playing on a 3DS. I found it to be fun and would say that it would be a good edition to the Smash Bros. franchise.

This is a must have game that Nintendo went all out on, they have a plethora of new and interesting characters and bring something special and uniqueness to the smash brothers franchise. This game has many game modes, characters, and online play what else do you need?!
