In other smash games there are only 30 or 15 characters but in smash 3d there are more than 50 characters.

Smash Bro is always good fun. Love the edition of some amazing new characters (Shulk!). My only complaint is that it can be difficult with the screen shaking mashing all those buttons. Prefer the Wii U version, but this is still Smash on the go and fun!

I have played Smash Brothers on different paltforms, but it is really fun on the DS and this version is one of the best yet!

Honestly one of the best fighting games ever made. It works just as well as the wii u version and is a fantastic portable.

Though I prefer to play Smash on the big screen, it's a great alternative when on the road and could play against friends.

A fun game to play on the handheld Nintendo 3DS. Many heroes to play with, and also a great game to play with friends.

It's great to see the Smash Brother series translate to the 3DS pretty well. The graphics look pretty nice (for the 3DS), the controls handle decently well (once you get used to things), and there's a good amount of content to keep you busy. The new characters play quite well, each having their own strengths and weaknesses, though some balance issues have been noted already (mainly in the competitive scene). Online play works decent, lag being more noticeable in 4 player match-ups. This should tide people over until the November release of the Wii U Smash Brothers!
