Bought this for my daughter for her birthday. I haven't played any Mario dames in a long time, but this one is fun!

I remember playing this on the n64. Now that it is portable it is just more convenient. Must have if you own a 3ds.

For the first handheld entry in the Super Smash Bros. series, this game does not disappoint. In one respect, it can't, since the series has never been on handhelds before, but comparing it to other entries does highlight a few faults. However, these faults don't completely detract from the overall experience, which is still an excellent one. The characters all come to life wonderfully on the 3DS' screen, though the 3D function is not particularly fun to use. The new and old characters alike have all been touched up from the last game, and the new customization features for the characters' movesets makes all of the characters even more diverse from each other than they already are. The game is very lively and a pleasure to look at and watch or play. Unfortunately, it's very clear that Nintendo was not lying when they said this game pushes the 3DS to its limits. The system resets if you close the game without turning off the console, which is something other 3DS titles do not do. The UI is a bit lacking compared to other entries, and what few new stages there are (most are reused) can feel somewhat uninspired at times. It seems clear that the main game is the Wii U version, but that does not stop this game from being a great game, and one that is a must have for every 3DS owner. It's also clear that they left out a lot of content for the Wii U version in order to keep the two versions distinct from each other, but comparing what's been revealed for the Wii U version to what is in the 3DS version, it seems clear that the Wii U version is getting the better half of the deal. That's not to say the 3DS version is not still a great game, but if you are only getting one of the two, you may want to wait and fully experience the game then. That said? If you are a primarily handheld gamer or do not yet own a Wii U, I highly recommend this title in the Wii U version's stead. While the Wii U version is likely going to have more content, this game is still plentiful in content and things to do, and with online capabilities, you will have more than your share of fights available once you play through all the single player modes, of which there are a fair amount. In short, while there are a few noticeable things that feel like they weren't as fleshed out as they could have been on a more powerful machine, it's still an amazing game, and I would highly recommend this to everyone who is interested. -- Written by the recipient of this game

Everything worked as advertised. Son is really enjoying the game. He now has the game for both the 3DS and the WiiU.

Super Smash bros 3DS is a ton of fun! I play on 3DS, It's got new updated characters like Mega Man and WiFit girl. The special moves are tricky, but you will be glad after you master them. Also playing your friends is heaps of fun, so find 3 pals with a 3DS and you can all play each other together, you won't regret it!

Got my nephew this game on xmas and it became his favorite gift received. Showed to his friends and they got one too

the best game in the series yet! seriously. buy this or if you're a parent, buy it for your kid, you wont regret it.

I love all of the SuperMario games that have come out throughout the years. They are a blast to play and some of them can be quite challenging. I am still new at this game, so my hopes are high for fun nights at home playing this game.

It's a nice game, bought for my son for Christmas and he loved. He plays the game every day and have a lot of fun.

Great addition to the series as expected. It's a bit of a shame about the buying DLC characters thing and the online multiplayer's a little bit laggy last time I tried, but just as the base game and for the single player it's a blast. I particularly love smash run--I kind of wish there was a version where you played with everyone(including the NPCs) running around the same map, fighting over all the same stuff, but that'd probably be a lot for the system to handle.

I have it for the Wii U, I had to buy it for the 3DS so I could up my points on Club Nintendo. Still a great game.

My sons absolutely love this game. My oldest has it for wii u so my youngest wanted it for his ds. Great game

Super Smash Bros. 3DS goes away from some of the discrepancies I hated in Brawl like tripping and the extremely slow gameplay. It provides well over 40 hours of content with the ability to beat challenges, unlock various items, and play online. This game is worthy of a 3DS purchase to any smasher of previous games.

You pick a character.. You fight the game AI or another player. . The next thing you know 45 minutes have passed.

Great portable version of Super Smash Brothers! If you love the other games you will love this one for the 3DS.
