Perhaps I had my hopes up too high for this game, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Good game for kids, I would recommend for anyone looking for a good game

It’s not the best but it ain’t the worst. I do play it every now & than.

Smash brother is another hit from nintendo. fun game.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is a slick, polished version of a beloved game, and it plays remarkably well on the hardware, but the 3DS is not the ideal platform for it. Even with a 3DS XL, the screen is sometimes too small to reliably see what's going on in a battle, and the system is not particularly ergonomic (my hands start to cramp up after only a few battles), and the controls are just different enough from a Gamecube controller that it takes a bit of time to get used to if that's your preferred controller for previous games. But if you have any interest in the series at all, it's worth checking this one out. Having portable Smash with you at all times is kind of amazing, and it's still extremely playable despite its limitations. Everything looks great, the characters feel good when playing them, and there's a huge variety of things to do in the game to make it well worth the price.

One of the best multi-player fighting games finally on the greatest handheld ever made…? YES! I have a bias for Nintendo products/games, but this is truly an amazing development in the series. So much content. So much nuance. So much fun! The online battling may lack stability from time to time, but it is far from handicapped by this as the local matches are stable and seamless, and all the mechanics you've come to love from previous incarnations of the game have been vastly improved. Reluctance about playing on the 3DS fades after the first 10 minutes. Learning the game is easy; mastering it, well...

Bought this for a kid who HAD to have it, played it once or twice, and I don’t think he’s played it since so I’m guessing it wasn’t that great
