This is the first time Super Smash Brothers has been ported to the handheld systems, and they have really done a great job. The sound and graphics are both amazing, and the game controls very well. A true delight for any Nintendo fan. My only complaint is with the anemic single-player modes on offer. There is no "story" mode like in past games, but there are a variety of simpler tournament-style modes to choose from. Overall, a great entry in the series.

This is my first Smash Bros game. I found the variety of characters and player modes to be enjoyable. Sound and video are both pretty good for 3DS. My only gripe is that the controls are pretty awkward and take some getting used to.

Great game that has loads of downloadable content to make the game better. You can play with your friends too. Definitely would recommend adding this game to your Nintendo collection.

Bought this game for my 9 year nephew and he has not stopped playing it. Graphics are great and the level of difficulties can be adjusted to meet the players experience level. Just like Mario party games, this game stays relative regardless of time. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys fighting games without the gore/blood seen in other fighting games.

Good old smash bros has never let me down. Its not going to start letting you down here. 3d is a little wonky but you're probably used to that so just turn it down a bit and fight away

This was my 8 year old grandson's favorite birthday gift. All of his friends already owned it so he was thrilled beyond belief to actually own one for himself. I'm now the cool granny!

As always this super smash bros game does a great job. Love that it is also compatible with its wii u counterpart. The only issue i felt was initially I personally hard a hard time adjusting to using the 3DS analog stick for the type of movement I was accustomed to with SSB. Felt a little unnatural at first but with practice, feels better.

This game is good. It is like the others but still good to play.

This game is amazing, and definitely worth the $39.99 that I paid for it. The roster in this title is huge, with FORTY NINE characters, including favorites like Mario, Link, Pikachu, and Donkey Kong, and several newcomers such as Pac-Man, Mega Man, and Little Mac. Each character feels completely different and offers so many different moves and specials. I can't put this game down. If this game was $59.99 I would still purchase it. Amazing. 10/10

My 21 year old son was looking forward to getting a Nintendo 3ds for quite awhile. After Christmas he purchased one and the 2 games he wanted were Super Smash Bros. and Pokémon Y . Since they were purchased , he can't put the games down. The graphics are phenomenal and the games are fun to play. He loves the fact that he can play with his college friends online over the winter break. I can't wait to give it a try.

This game is so much fun when play with friends and family but there is so much downloadable content. A lot of the characters need to be purchase. The whole dlc is like the price for another smash bros game.

I got this for my little bro and he's been playing this non stop. I know a lot of people bought this and play it. This version has some features the wii version doesnt. Check it out.

Gameplay is great and there are a ton of characters and items to use. Can't wait for the wii u version
