Nintendo has once again set the bar high for their Smash Bros series. Chock full of features and memorable characters, this edition feels better overall (Melee fans will be pleased), and you'll find yourself retiring Brawl. It can be difficult to see the madness sometimes on the 3DS screen, but if you want to play Smash Bros on the go, you won't be disappointed.

Real good game with excellent graphics and a lot of characters to try

This is a great game. It's better to play with friends, but is still entertaining on your own.

Very good smash game that will keep you entertained. I am more nostalgic for the originals, but a good continuation to the series nonetheless

A fantastic new smash bros game that is portable for the first time.

Super Smash Bros for 3DS continues in the strong tradition of Super Smash Bros game, while not losing much as a result of having it on a handheld device rather than a console. The game looks and plays great, especially on a 3DS XL due to the larger screen, and this is a great way to pass the time and build excitement until Super Smash Bros for Wii U comes out.

My sons play a lot of video games in their spare time and this one they all requested and have been enjoying it so far

This new entry in the Smash Bros. series delivers on all the greatness we've come to expect of the series. The action on the 3DS only lacks the new 8-player mode the Wii U version includes. Otherwise, everything is there! The new characters are very welcome additions to the game (especially Little Mac). Highly recommended to all Nintendo fans, old and young.

i love playing super smash brothers just as much as my kids. it has a really high fun factor and a must own if you have a nintendo 3ds/2ds

Nintendo did something I didn't think they could do and that's to fit such a massive game in such a tiny cartridge. Already put in 50 hours and still lots to do. The gameplay is top notch, the roster is incredible, and the music is phenomenal. Only reason I'm stopping is because now its on to the superior one on Wii U. But this is still a fantastic 3ds game.

If you’ve ever enjoyed playing the other Super Smash Brothers games, this is a no-brainer. If you haven’t, you’ll still probably enjoy this game. The fighting is simple yet satisfying. I’ve docked a star for several reasons, the biggest being the fact that it’s designed to be played with a friend sitting on the couch next to you but the 3DS doesn’t lend itself well to that type of game play. The other reason is the smallness of the screen. There are moments in the game play where the screen zooms out a ways and your character becomes pretty small to see.

One of the best games you can buy on the 3ds. It's filled with characters from all sorts of classic games back in the day. Fun and simple.

Tons of characters to play as and fun to play with friends

So I had the sudden urge to play smash and my friends has bought 3ds so I figured I'll try to find one and I did and immediately got smash bros and this game was amazing .. it's great trying to unlock all characters it's great just playing with friends while on wifi cause growing up you always had to be next to each other. Worth it

As a mom, I am always looking for a game that is appropriate for my youngest son (8) and my oldest children (14, 15, 17), and Smash Bros. definitely fits this must-have standard. It is fun, causes a lot of laughs, and challenges even those who seem to be too old for video games. : )

I have many good memories playing games in these series with friends. The only downside is using the 3d to play on the wii u version

Large roster of characters, though I would have preferred a wider range of characters of different series, and definitely an improvement over the last iteration of super smash bros. My main issue wasn't with the game itself, it was more with the platform. The 3ds is definitely not made for fighting games and holding it/inputting combos for a prolonged period of time got rather uncomfortable very quickly. I've accrued over 300 hours on monster hunter 3 ultimate without an issue, however, so I feel like it's not the system itself, but the genre on the platform doesn't mix. I'd say give it a try though and see if you like it.

Been waiting for a new smash since forever, and could wait for the wii u version. so I broke down and bought the 3ds. No doubt!, it didn't disappoint. Graphic looks wonderful, gameplay is just as i remember. a slight learning curve to 3ds controller. only complaint is online play is a mixed bag, connection can range from smooth hassle-free to a lag feast.

I love the Smash Bros. series and after being a little let down with Brawl, I am just eager to play and play on this portable version. Theres a lot of content to keep you busy, tons of stuff to unlock, and newcomers like Pac Man and Mega Man increase the roster(fun). Im very interested to see what the connectivity with the Wii U version is going to entail.
