Purchased for sons girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. I am happy that she is enjoying it. My son also loves it.

Amazing! filled with content, great multi-player, just plain fun.

Essentially it's the same game as Smash for Wii U but with lower res graphics. I really just bought this as a warm up until the release of the Wii U version. To be honest, I haven't really played it since the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Once those are finished, I'll defiantly play this game again away from home console, mobility.

Really fun game. Lots of replay value. I love the amiibo training feature with the new Nintendo 3 ds XL. It helps me relieve stress:)

Originally purchased to keep me occupied before the Wii U version released, but this one was a blast in it's own right. All the fun of smash on the go and some of the game modes that are a ton of fun (Smash Run in particular) are not present in the console version. Just don't go too crazy and damage your buttons on your 3DS.

I like to call this game the prequel of the Wii U version that will arrive in November. While this is by no means the best Smash Bros you will ever play, it's definitely not a bad game. There is quite a bit of content for a handheld console, and it's a typical Smash Bros game. My only big gripe is the online play and how much lag comes with it. I have played about 15 games online against anyone, and only two games had no lag. I'm hoping Nintendo will fix this, as I have no issues with lag on my other consoles. Other than that, worth every penny and I'm sure this is a glimpse of what the Wii U version will bring.

Our son played and giggled to the last Super Smash game constantly. This update was greatly antipated....and it didn't dissapoint him.

This has all the fun stuff you love with the smash brothers games! It also has alot of great characters and new neat levels. Some are just silly, like the pikmin level where the big licker guy eats you! Haha but it is jam packed full of fun and you can play online too! Hope you buy this and enjoy. I know me and my daughters love it (4yrs and 10yrs)

I was a bit iffy on purchasing this for the 3DS. After a few days of playing I'm loving it. The online play was great with zero lag issues which was surprising seeing as how much action goes on in the smash series at any given time. This is more then just a place holder till the Wii U version comes out. Only complaint is no Ice Climbers in the game.

I was skeptical of the Super Smash series coming to handheld so I had low expectations for the 3DS versions of Super Smash. But I was pleasantly surprised of how well the game played, but I definitely had to get used to the somewhat laggy controls on the 3DS. Super excited to link this up to Super Smash Bros on the Wii U and have 8-player battles!

I had my doubts when Nintendo wanted to pack the action of the Smash Bros series into their tiny handheld but they did it in spades!

Super Smash Brothers is an awesome game to have in the 3DS line up of action packed games. Lots of intense moves and final smashes.

I would really like to give this a 5/5, but playing online has almost entirely been a frustrating experience unless I know the person I'm playing with has a decent connection. Unfortunately, even the smallest bit of latency can trip you up in a very noticeable way. For a game so reliant on multiplayer this is rather vexing. Aside from that though, the game is a blast to play, with an expanded roster, improved mechanics over Brawl, and revamped and all new modes. It's a must have for any fan of Nintendo or those who enjoy the genre. I just hope the Wii U version irons out some of the connectivity kinks.

I have been a fan of the Smash series since the Gamecube. Fun and entertaining for everyone. Easy controls for easy fighting.

New and old characters in an action packed game. Fun to play.

Identify ing this as the second best franchise after Mario Kart, should be enough of an review for this product. Non-stop multi-player fun. Now that both Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers are available, the Wii U is now a viable machine. I bought copies of this for my children as a means to satiate their enthusiasm for the Wii U version.
