Although it doesn't have quite the same feel with 3ds as the controller, the game is fun and addicting. I'm especially loving smash run.

I really didn't think Nintendo could make a great Smash Bros on 3DS, but they blew me away. Its one of the most addicting games I've played in a while. I can't wait for the Wii U version now!

To be honest, I was afraid that Smash Bros on the 3DS would be severely gimped compared to the console version and I thought that I would be very disappointed. On the contrary, I was very impressed and became addicted to it quickly. I almost prefer the 3DS version for it's pick up and play nature. The unique mode, Smash Run, is very similar to City Trial in Kirby Air Ride for those of you that played that other Sakurai creation. This game has a ton of love and craftsmanship put behind it. I LOVE that the battery indicator and time are constantly on the bottom screen. One of the best 3DS games ever.

My all time favorite game! Takes me back to my childhood days when I would play this on my Nintendo 64! Now if only they would make Wave Race for the Nintendo DS!

I love all the smash brothers games and have played them since I was a little kid. On the 3ds I feel the screen is to small to see everything that's going on. I lose track of my character while I'm fighting. It's just an ok game but still lots of fun. Looking forward to the Wii U version.

My two small boys (age 5 and 9) were anxiously waiting for this game to come out and they were so happy to finally get it that they havent stopped playing it (in their spare time of course)!

Smash bros on the go! Its obviously not as good as the wii u version, do to less powerful hardware, but this game definitely does not feel like water down smash bros game and it plays great.

This is one of the best multiplayer games on 3DS. It would be the best if it had Download Play like Mario Kart 7. Great for local and online play... a lot of fun!!

Great characters , excellent level design. Many unlockable secrets. Nostalgia goes wild . Great overall experience especially when fighting games don't always fare well on portable consoles

This is an excellent game to pick up, sure it isn't like the same experience as the Wii U version, but it is still amazingly fun, nonetheless. I would highly recommend it if you own a 3DS.

Great addition to the Smash Bros. Series. Plays well on the 3ds xl. Similar to the last release, but with enough new characters and play styles to be worth a new release on a new platform.

Huge fan of the series in general but was unsure how it would translate to a portable device. It does translate really well and I'm really enjoying the game.

A fun classic game now being able to be taken on the go on your 3DS. Only problem is unlike other 3DS games, both players need a copy of the game to play with each other, so it doesn't allow download/share play where only one player would share the game with another person who doesn't have the game. Also a bit overpriced

Great game. Must have for any 3ds owner. Can play with other people either on 3ds or wiiU. So much fun. Doesn't really lose anything compared to home console versions.

My grandson wanted this and loves to play it. It keeps him entertained and reminds me of a time when video games were just starting.

Bought this game for my son. I enjoyed the older version when I was younger and the game has only improved with time. We have so much fun playing it together.

Super Smash Bros as a franchise has always been a great amount of fun. If you're a fan of any fighting games this is probably the best one for a portable console currently on the market

While the 3D may be lacking in some areas, the game itself is very enjoyable and creative, with a large roster of playable characters and arenas. Could play it for hours!

We bought an extra copy of this when it was on a very good sale! Now our kids can play together or against at each other.

This game is just as fun as Smash bros on a console. It's even better because there's easy access to it on the go. I can easily just play with my coworkers during lunch. There's various features in the game to keep you playing, but the biggest draw is the multiplayer. The only downside is the lag that can appear in local and online multiplayer.
