Love this game, classic overhead 2D game play. Extremely dark and very funny ( if you like dark humor). I works for the nihilist in me

I have played BOI rebirth on both the 3ds and PS4 and enjoyed them immensely. I jumped at the chance to own a physical copy of Afterbirth + for the switch. This game isn't for everyone due to the subject matter and gameplay style. The influence from LoZ NES is obvious and the gameplay reminds me of the original dungeons only more of a challenge. I have noticed that the controls in this game are a little less forgiving, in that Isaac doesn't stop right away when you let off the directional pad/joystick but this may be intentional. The only thing keeping this title from a 5 is this fact.

This is a great game for fans of roguelikes and dungeon crawlers. It has lots of replay-ability as every run features a different dungeon and there are tons of items and power ups that can change your strategies each time. The Switch version includes all the DLC from the original PC port. Overall, highly recommended and one of my favorite games on the Switch right now, but one word of caution, there is a lot of content that some folks might find a bit disturbing, so I would not recommend this game for a small child.

There's lots of blood and fecal matter so be forewarned. If that doesn't bother you prepare for a difficult yet rewarding experience!

This is one of my favorite games of the past decade. Subversive and funny it is also challenging and constantly changing.

This is the best version of Binding of Isaac, and it's great that I now own a copy on my switch so I can play it on the go. Awesome!

The game is pretty good, and the expansion DLC that is added makes items feel like a fresh new game, nice for replayability.

Amazing game with hours upon hours of gameplay, if you played the original i highly reccomend picking up this version for switch!

The game plays like a warped version of the original Zelda on the NES. Very entertaining but could be very disturbing for some.

This is simply the BEST version available of BoI. All the bells and whistles of Afterbirth, now on the go. What's not to like?

Comes with all current content and gameplay is smooth, no slowdowns like the base game on PC. This is the one to get.

This game is amazing, addicting, and very difficult. It has a dark and creepy vibe, but that is part of the charm.

Nothing much has changed from the PC version, and I still love controlling it and playing it hour after hour.
