I was expecting something a lot more with good interaction. Really lacked a lot of what I hoped to get.

    Honest Review!

Ok , I am a hardcore gamer who owns this game both in Xbox One and PS4. I reviewed this on both consoles when it first launched and I gotta say its worth every penny. Some people complain and say its alrite, but im saying its just amazing ! Issues logging into servers more and longer wait times on Xbox than on PS4 where I had hardly any issues. Its been over a week and this games improved with bugs etc. Your playing with thousands of others online so if you get stuck fighting a heavy boss you have others to help fight with you. No issues with playing with other friends but the only disappointment is NOTHING! I already told my girlfriend that I will be a nerd for the next year exploring Tamriel!

Another boring MMO, would not recommend because of the long grind for each level.

Bethesda only published it, it shows

As my title says Bethesda, the company who typically helps produce and publish games such as the Elder Scrolls games, Fallout series etc. only published this game. Instead this game was developed by Zenimax studios, which took creative license with this game and change much of the beloved controls from the recent GOTY Skyrim. Much to the dismay of fans. The game is pretty good if you can remember that this is not meant to be Skyrim 2 or a single-person MMO; but rather a unique kind of MMO.

Graphics are bad. Story line is confusing and poor. Three of us bought this game to play together online and none of us have kept the game. Very poorly done given the technical capabilities of the Xbox.

Have been playing since day 1 release and enjoying the MMO style game play of ESO series. Ignore the negative comments on forums and twitter about maintenance schedules and outages, its gotten a lot better since the first week of release. Hardly have any issues getting in the server at all these days. Also No subscription is required to be successful in this game. If there is something you want to purchase with crowns you will have to purchase some in the store or subscribe to receive monthly crowns and extras. May subscribe eventually but right now really having a blast leveling thru quests.

    Rough Experience

When you can log in, it's good. Story-wise, I like it. There is a lot of content to keep you busy. But there are bugs that break that content which cause you to restart the game. I had almost no problem logging into the Europe server. The American server puts you in queue. You can't play the same character between servers. I like the fact you can roll with heavy armor and lob spells or swing swords with almost no class restrictions. The bugs I experienced are huge deterrents that should have been nailed down in pre-release testing. They had an extra year.

    Perfect casual MMORPG for Xbox/PS4/PC

I've actually purchased this game twice on both the Xbox One and on the PC. I have a more hard core character I play and sink time into on the PC version and I have an Xbox One character that I play when I want to kick back in the bedroom and casually explore. First of all, the console version is not a watered down version of the PC version. Graphics may take a hit on console just a little bit but the whole experience is here, this is the full ESO experience on console and they've done an absolutely wonderful job on Xbox. I don't feel like I'm missing anything when I switch from my PC character over to my Xbox character. Same world, quests, NPCs, etc. You can even use an Xbox controller on the PC and play that way. Now as far as the actual game content itself: - huge open world, will take you months to even start to feel like you know all the areas of the maps. Using the map will be your friend! theres a lot of content and it's fleshed out really well. Not a lot of 'dead' areas, it's filled with content - No subscription fee! This is nice and makes it easier if you decide to take a break and come back to the game later, everything will be there waiting for you. - Classes: tons of classes to select from - Combat: it's not just WoW style tab targeting, you have to block/dodge/counter attack similar to Tera Online if you're familiar with that, it's much more engaging - Quests: there is so much STORY and LORE being this is an Elder Scrolls game, quests are really story driven and voice acted - Leveling: it can be slow but the grind to level 50 is a rewarding one, just follow the quest lines and do daily dungeons/pvp - Pay 2 Win: there's none of that here. Yes there is a cash-shop where you spend 'crowns' but there's no way to buy your way to success in ESO, everyone has a fair shot although they do offer a $15/mo membership that will help you with things like inventory spaces and more bank slots and a 10% Xp boost but it's not necessary and you can completely ignore this and still enjoy the game 100% Overall: This is a great game, even better for casual players but still engaging enough for die-hard fans ready to sink in hundreds/thousands of hours into the Elder Scrolls Online. New expansion is coming out!

Fun game with near endless game play

This game is a lot of fun. There is a ton of content in the game, and has many, many hours of gameplay. The immersion isn't as good as in Skyrim, or Oblivion, but the MMO aspect of it makes up for it. It's not as good as Skyrim, but is a fun MMO to play with friends or by yourself. It doesn't require a monthly subscription, but you can pay monthly for ESO+, and get extra content.

    Amazing Game

This game is simply amazing, I agree it was bad when it first came out but since they did all the updates its just wow. There is something to do no matter what kind of gamer you are. I have logged 15 hours, started 4 professions and joined 3 guilds. The PvP I will be trying today and from what I have seen on Twitch it is huge and very involved. If anyone needs help on the Xbox One you can always reach out to me ToxicJezus, I can answer any questions you have about the game and if I cant I am sure we can find the answer together.

I love Elder Scrolls games but this one wins them all. This game never ends and that's what is so fun about it. I have a blast with my guild running random dungeons and doing arena. I recommend this game to anyone who is interested. You will sink in 100+ hours into this game and NOT regret it like Destiny.

If you like the Elder Scrolls series, you will love this game! Play online with friends, or just go on a solo quest. You can also become a Vampire or Werewolf online just like in the single player games.

This is a great MMORPG in that you can choose to play with others or just solo (single player). Either way you can get through the entire game. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed Skyrim
