The game itself is not bad, but if you have played Skyrim or other Elder Scrolls games, you will be disappointed. The interfaces are confusing to navigate and the MMO aspect makes the game lag (even if you have good internet speed). To put it simply, it is not nearly as fun to play as Skyrim. If it were single player with the option of multiplayer/playing with friends, then it would be much better. Overall, the game is okay, but I would not purchase it again.

This game grew on me. I almost put it down after a few hours in but I pushed through and now I can't put it down. I would recommend it, especially if you can play with a few friends.

Elder scrolls is a great game full of action and adventure. I do enjoy having the ability to play with my friends, but, the game has only allowed me to play, maby, a dozen times since it came out, because the servers are full, and I paid 80$ for my version. I want my money back! Or let me play my #u#k$n₩ game

The game was extremely similar to the feel of Skyrim and I thought the graphics were about the same. There wasn't much improvement from Skyrim (at least to me) except that you have people playing around or with you. Overall, if you like Elder Scrolls you will like the game. Some may complain they don't like online gameplay but you really don't need to get into that aspect of you don't want to. It still feels like a single player game with occasional elves walking here and there with a username.

I played Skyrim and am still constantly returning to it: it was fun and engaging and never felt dull. I thought this game would be similar, but it did not live up to my expectations. The MMO aspect of the game takes away from the feeling of independence that Skyrim had. There are always players everywhere you go, which, in some cases is good, but for me was annoying. If you were to go into a cave, for example, in Skyrim, you would feel more connected to the game because you would be alone and needed to focus. In this game, there are players running around everywhere and the experience just feels less authentic. To conclude, if you are looking for a game similar to Skryim, you will most likely be disappointed.

To be honest I didn’t have high expectations of ESO. I had played WOW for years and DAOC and Everquest before that. However, I haven’t been on the MMO scene for years so I decided to check out ESO. I’m glad I took the middling reviews with a grain of salt because ESO turned out to be SO much more than I expected. PVP, dungeons and questing are an absolutely blast. Leveling is actually a fun experience as there are so many things to skill up from weapons to abilities to gear. There’s always something new to try out and you can really make your character your own. Im really into PVP and dungeon crawls and I have to say it’s been the best experience for me so far in a MMO. I’m continually blown away by the ambience in the dungeons in 4K. I’m really glad I took the middling reviews with a grain of salt because it has far exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t recommend it more for new and old MMO players alike.

Another review from SnareOfDeath will post on here eventually, but that review was for a different game. I accidentally submitted the review for Elder Scrolls online, whoops! ACTUAL REVIEW: My wife and I really enjoy playing this game together. Lots of quests to tackle, and plenty of area to explore. We have put in a lot of hours already, and we still have a lot to complete. For the price, this game is worth checking out if you are a fan of MMO's and Elder Scrolls.

The game is truly amazing; plays like an mmo but feels like an Elder Scrolls. Multiplayer feels optional rather than required and offers a varied experience based on the groups choices. There are countless things you can do and each rewarding in their own way- personally my favorite aspect will be the crafting though until release no one can say. This will be on the nomination list of best game of 2014 so pre-order it now while you can or you can do what I'm doing and snagging the imperial edition.

Elder Scrolls online is a great MMO and there are few games like it on the new Consoles. The DLC Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood along with the massive game gives you over 1,000 hours of playing time. If you are looking to spend an hour here or there than this is not the game for you. If you want to get lost in a world of mastering skills, become stealth assassins, a brute destroyer, a powerful mage, or whatever you desire then this is the game for you.
