    OK Port from PC

The XBox One release of the Elder Scrolls Online is an adequate port of the PC edition. The implementation of voice chat is a novelty, but one that wears off quickly. The use of a controller versus a keyboard is fluid and not as much of a change as expected, but the loss of add-ons may not be balanced out by the controller use.

    WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Some how Bethesda didn't realize that they had a online only game coming out. If you are one of the fortunate ones who can get online and play great for you. I have been trying for the past hour to get online. Simple math Bethesda 10,000,000 pre- orders 10,000,000 plus people online. The game might be fun in a few months when you are able to play it. Very disappointing I loved Oblivion, sky rim. Had to ruin the fun by making it an online only game. Online only games are making game play as bad as the Xbox one making an entertainment center instead of a game system.

Don't waste your money, time or frustration

You would think after the two year delay in releasing this game that they would have gotten most of it right but no, it is terrible. I did the beta testing and it is just as bad if not worse. Their super server method causes long waits to get logged in, frequent disconnects and terrible lag. I have even encountered invisible/broken NPCs that are key to basic missions. It is a waste. I would rather have my money back. And in case your wondering, I check my connection speed every day and I am connecting at 70 MB or better with a low ping, so it isn't on my end.

    All these people running around

I guess the base of the game is ok - not great or especially fun. I was most turned off by all of the strangers running around. It's one thing to go on a quest and have people running around is just weird - I can't get used to it.

    Terrible customer service (Zenimax)

One would assume that when you pay for a game, you actually get what you paid for. Not true with Zenimax. The imperial edition and explorer packs were not showing up, even though I bought them. They were aware of this (and it happened on PC launch too) but they don't care about their customers and instructed customer service to tell customers "just make a character and play. when we fix it you can remake your character and transfer the gear." Not only that, but the two weeks the game was literally unplayable. Invisible NPCs required for quests would not allow me to leave the tutorial area. The game is also laggy and graphically choppy. There has since been an update, but you still can't play with friends unless you go through a crazy work around. This is really a terrible port, and unless they get their act together people won't play. I also think it's BS that Zenimax continues to tell us that we aren't paying a subscription fee and how amazing that is so we shouldn't complain. Because I totally didn't PAY for the game, right?

Spent some time in PC beta. It's Elder Scrolls as an MMO, this is great! $15/month, less great. Skyrims Health/Stamina/Magic advancement is back. This is a really shallow form of character development. That along with what feels like a lack of real innovation makes me think I'll wait 6 months when it goes free to play on PC. If playing Skyrim with friends is worth $15/month, invest here.

Terrible game that can't support online service

I bought this game the other day. My friends and I have had nothing but problems on trying to use it. It won't let us log into the game most of the time due to overcrowding on servers. When we do join, sometimes objectives are missing or people are invisible. This game left me longing to go back to skyrim.

DO NOT BUY! ANGER WILL ENSUE!!

Yes, it takes several hours to download. Yet even after the download, the wait time to logon is ridiculous. Last night took me twenty minutes, but this morning is a whole other story. I have just been stuck at a screen that says, "This may be an unusually long loading time". TWO HOURS LATER, NOTHING! I figured I will start writing bad reviews about it until I can actually play it, and this is my third one so far. Buy a can of paint instead of this game, watching it dry would be funner and cheaper than this game.

I am a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series and Bethesda games in general. I will buy all their games. This game does not disappoint for MMO fans. Love every aspect of it. It's a huge game world as you would come to expect and lots to do. Hours will go by at a blink of an eye.

I love not having a life which is why this game means sooo much to me. I live at home alone in my grandmas basement and hate animals. This game provided an outlet to my pointless life. I love this game! NERDS UNITE!
