Was debating on waiting for PS5 or going with PS4....I am impatient since I still have a functioning PS3 and the original Skyrim. I plan on replaying this epic and only expect it to be better this time around

I’ve bought skyrim on two separate consols now and I’m never disappointed. Nice that the DLCs are included.

I originally played through the game on PC the first time around, but have really gotten into the game remastered for PS4. On the PS4 Pro it runs beautifully at 30FPS at full 4K resolution. The effects and enhanced textures, depth of field, all play well into a great overall presentation that is very immersive.

With (slightly) improved visuals, faster loading times and all DLC (and mods if you're into that), this is definitely the version you should play if it's your first time. It's also totally worth jumping back in for veterans of the game. You'll find a hundred hours (or maybe two) have passed before you know it.

I've never played the Elder Scrolls games before, only Fallout. I finally caved in and got Skyrim for PS4, and that was the best decision I've ever made. The game itself is beautiful and there are way too many ways to play, but hey! That's what multiple playthroughs are for, assume you can stop to begin with.

Fri. PS3 to PS4 This story places you in a world like no other. And has the visuals, game play, narrative, music, and immersive detail that provided endless entertainment. I still hadn't stopped playing the PS3 version when this special edition released. With many improvements. Even better this time.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that Skyrim would be ported to the PS4. I'd spent about a thousand hours playing it on the PS3 beforehand, along with even more time once the expansions were released. The graphics are updated, and the ability to mod on console was greatly appreciated.

This is one of the best games I’ve played. I didn’t have the patience to start a new character after my original from 2011 is still going strong. This is for my spouse and she can’t wait to dive into it.

There's a reason they've rereleased Skyrim so many times. It's one of the best games from the last gen of games and holds up incredibly well. If you still haven't checked it out then this is a great version to get since it includes the DLC and the option to add in player mods

If you were a fan of the original it is well worth a reply of this amazing game with updated graphics and stability. The only draw back is that there is no new content what so ever, and for PS4 users the mods are severely limited. At full price it's a bit much but with the holiday sales its more reasonable

This game is just as good as it was when it first game out and has been made even better because of the updated graphics. The game runs much faster on the next gen consoles and looks a lot better. You also get all the DLC too! If you enjoyed the original game, you will also enjoy the remastered version.

This incarnation of Skyrim more than lived up to expecations. As his is my first time playing it on a console so I wasn't sure what to expect with the controls but they're very easy to use. The graphics are greatly improved, which in turn improves playing quality. One of my best purchases this year.

Unlike most games, this one has literally hundreds of hours of replay value. The map is absolutely huge. It's so good, that he has purchased this same game on PS3, Switch, and now PlayStation 4...which he claims is the best version he owns.

Great game and seems to be sharper than before. The mod option is cool too as long as you find something you'd like to add

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an absolute must have for anybody that enjoys the Adventure genre, RPGs (role playing games), or a combination of both! The new remastered edition looks fantastic and runs perfectly. Simply put, if you haven't played Skyrim once before, this is the game you need to get.

Great game to dive into a world and go exploring. I get side tracked all the time from my current quest but its because everything and anything is fun. Mods are great but turn off trophies and unnecessary for first time players only people who are trying to put more than 200 hours into the game

All Bethesda games have bugs and glitches, but these aren't too bad. Not that I have seen so far. There are plenty of quests to keep you busy for hours upon hours. Whether this is your cup of tea or not is up to you. Just make sure to keep playing because you may forget names and quests by the time you return from hiatus.

I bought this game for PS3 and spent a couple hundred hours on it. I bought it again because my girlfriend was looking for a new game to get into. Worth it! Pros: Awesome game. You can follow the story line, or just mess around. Cons: I can't get my girlfriend to stop playing.

This last generation remake is a must own if your a fan of the elder scrolls fantasy world.

This game is completely awesome. It is by far the best open world single player game ever made in my opinion. There are just hours upon hours of game play with many story lines. The graphics are awesome and you can even create your own gear. I highly recommend this game to any gamer.
