I love this game as open world so much more than the previous fixed story versions. No matter where I go there is an adventure to be had.

I've always been a fan of the Zelda franchise. I didn't think anything could de-throne my 90s fav of Link to the Past (though Twilight Princess came close). Breath of the Wild is so grand and daunting, that it feels like an actual adventure. There is so much you can do that I'm constantly being surprised. The only difficult part is setting the game down for a while to take a break. It pays homage to the previous titles while being completely unique to itself. It's the only reason I purchased the Switch. Well worth it.

This game has so much depth, and lets you tackle it however you want to. Gone are the typical dungeons however. In their place out “Shrines” which each offer an environment challenge, puzzle involving a single or multiple items, or a mini boss fight you may have found in any of the predecessors dungeon rooms. These are all scattered among a gigantic world that is completely unlocked for you to explore from the get-go. There seems to a plethora of side quests to keep you busy for quite some time as well. So far so good here!

It is my first time playing a Zelda game and i love it. The story is great, the obstacles, the quality of the game is really good

So much to do in this game, it seems endless and is super fun. Huge map and great story. 100% recommend!

Bought as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, she played mine and seemed to like it. As far as I know she loves it.

This may possibly be the BEST GAME EVER. If you can think it then it is most likely possible. Tough battles, tricky puzzles and a great story.

So to be clear, and I've never been a Zelda fan. Nothing against them, they've just never been my flavor. I bought this because i had to have the switch and it was the only logical launch game. Well i'm glad i bought it, because I am completely enthralled with it!! I must have close to if not more than 30 hours in so far and probably that many more to go by the looks of things. I head for an objective than get side tracked for hours!! do u love zelda, buy this game, honestly we know you already did. Don't love zelda? give it a shot anyway

BOTW is a fantastic game. I have put over 150 hours into it, and I am about halfway done. There is still so much to explore!

It is a refreshing take on the Zelda formula. It says a lot that my wife, someone who wouldn't normally play a Zelda game, played it from start to finish. She even wanted to do all the side quests and find all the shrines. You can pretty much go anywhere from the get go, and do anything in whatever order you want. It still retains a lot of the classic Zelda themes and characters, which means if you liked the older games, you will like this one too. I highly recommend.

Fantastic game. Had it on the wii-u but never finished it do to the game getting broken. Decided to buy it again when I got the switch. Still just as good. If you're a fan of Zelda games, especially Ocarina, Majors Mask or Windwaker, then you'll enjoy this. The game also doesn't rely on knowing anything about the previous games so its a good game to jump into the series with if you've never played a Legend of Zelda game before.

As a lifelong fan, this has been excellent so far! If you have a Switch, you need this game! Graphics, gameplay, story, etc. are amazing!
