Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the multiplayer aspect and find the puzzles to be creative and fun. Many appreciate the game's graphics and costumes, while some find the replay value to be high. However, a common criticism focuses on the shallowness of the story and occasional lag issues.

My two girls and I all have 3ds's now and we got this game to play together. The 3 player is very fun. Less than 3 players, not so much. Local play highly recommended, as there is no custom message or voice chat in online play, making it quite frustrating.

This game is designed with multiplayer in mind. It's basically centered around co-op puzzle solving. It can be played solo, but it uses AI for the other two players. The game is fun, but just OK.

    It's multiplayer: 3 3DSs with 1 cart

This game looks like the SNES "A Link to the Past" and plays like "Four Sword Adventures" on the GameCube. Unlike that game only one cart is needed. Triforce Heroes uses download play to allow two other players to join your adventure. It's a great Zelda game and an even better multiplayer experience.

I was looking forward to playing this with my wife and everything but turns out we need a third person to play it. It's either 1 player or 3 players. You can't play with 2. It doesn't make sense

I really wanted my Zelda fix and sort of got it with this game. The game is good. If I had to compare to another in the series it felt like Four Swords but not near as good.

Do you have 3 friends with 3DS's? if no.... then stop reading. if yes,its great fun. Online is a lag fest, and extremely pushy players. Stick to local multiplayer.

    Gameplay is decent, but...

loses some of it's impact on the small 3DS screen. As long as game players accept this constraint/limitation, then they will enjoy the game, especially if they are already Zelda or Link fans.

my friends do not have a 3ds so that effected how I felt about this game. if you have friends that have the game I think that would make the game better.

If you want a great zelda game. This is not it. Single player is awful. The totems don't follow you and you have to literally pick them up to bring them where you are. Switching between them works fairly well, but it would have been better to make its control scheme like four swords on the gamecube.

This game was given as a gift. The ONLY place I could find it was at Best Buy. Not only was the purchase quick and friendly but the actual game was a hit. This has been a well played game by a teen so it must not be "cheesey" or too easy. A good choice.

Was hesitant about this game at first, as big of a Zelda fan as i am i still had to give it a shot, and playing with your friends or some family its a pretty fun time.

This was a gift for my daughter's graduation and she loves it. She informed me that it was the best, has discovered no glitches and really enjoys the store line as well as the ability to change the character you are playing.

Good game, even when frustrating, to play with two other people. You can play solo, but it loses some of it's charm.

Very reminiscent of four swords back on the GameCube. Just mix it with the DS Zelda games, plus some extra costume silliness and there you have it.
