Customers enjoy the multiplayer aspect and find the puzzles to be creative and fun. Many appreciate the game's graphics and costumes, while some find the replay value to be high. However, a common criticism focuses on the shallowness of the story and occasional lag issues.

Not a real Zelda game. Doesn't even have a story. it's only playable with two other people. The single player mode isn't great.

The three player is great, but I rarely have three people in one room to play with. It would have been AMAZING if my wife and I could play with just one another.

This is one of the most uninspired Zelda games I have ever played. Granted, it's not horrible, but it is not close to the quality of its predecessors.

It's a Zelda game... for cheap... not the best... but worth it for the collection, unlike that Metroid* game they are trying to push.
*Not Metroid.

If you have two other friends to play with then definitely pick this up otherwise, there are a lot better Zelda games worth your money.

Hasn't been the hit we thought it would be. You need 3 3DS's and 3 copies of the game to play local multiplayer. That's silly.

Entertaining, but not a whole lot of fun playing solo. It's possible, but gets very frustrating at times.

It's fun but it isn't a single player game. Would I recommend it to a friend? I think I have to.

This game really dissappoints. 3 players must play online or nearby or else you can only play 1 player no in between.
Single player is very frustrating and not designed well.
the game doesn't feel like a good Zelda game.
not a very good game overall

Multiplayer isn't as bad as i thought it would be with 2 random strangers. There is no chat function in multiplayer, all there is are a set of gestures you can use in hopes of conveying your thoughts to the other 2 players. Most of the time the gestures work for what you need to convey, but there are times you wish you can be a little more specific with what you want to say.
Puzzles are just as you'd expect from the Zelda franchise and is pretty fun, even with strangers. You can also play everything alone if you wish, but be warned, you'd be doing the work of 3 if you do since your other 2 "players" are basically these dolls that come to life only when you switch to that color of Link.
Completing each area can grant you 1 of 3 possibly materials that you loot at the end of each level from a chest. Those materials, you use them to fabricate new costumes to help you at the tailoring shop in town. Any excess materials you get can be sold to a merchant in town as well.
Overall, it's a nice change of pace in the Zelda franchise if you enjoy multiplayer and a little bit of grinding for materials. Do not buy this if you are looking for the next Zelda link between worlds, as it's nothing like your usual Zelda game.
