This is one of the finest video games ever made. The graphics, storytelling, actual consequences to your choices, a fun combat system, and one of the best and most responsive dev teams around make this purchase a no-brainer. Be prepared to spend over 100 hours with this game. It's huge and never gets boring. Every side quest feels real and important. Bottom line: Buy this game.

Thus game is absolutely stunning. The music score rivals what they do for star wars. How it sets the tone or if the mood changes. The story is great too. I am no where near finished with the game but it doesn't seem too open worldly. I have been able to follow the quest and limit side missions. Great game for those looking for something to really stick your teeth into.

Game is simply amazing once it gets going! The first few hours are kinda... meh. But once you leave White Orchard things really pick up and never die down! The technical issues do hold it back a bit. I have had freezing and frame rate issues, even after the day one patch, but have been able to overlook those for the most part because the game is so amazing otherwise! Whenever I experience those issues I have to reboot the XBOX and it resolves them. Still frustrating tho and is the reason for 4 star rating and not a 5. Highly recommend game still though. Physical package is amazing!

I didn't play the other Witcher games, but I am happy I brought this one. The world is beautiful and the combat is the best combat I have played in any rpg.

This go around with Geralt feels and controls much more natural than previous iterations. In the past, the Witcher games have been engrossing and wonderful, but movement has felt a bit stiff and limited. CD Red Projekt has taken a great step in the right direction with this game, giving it both a staggering level of depth and complexity paired with a more natural feel.
