I never played the first two Witcher games, but I'm a huge fan of this one. I have temporarily set it aside to adventure in Elder Scrolls Online with my buddies, but Witcher is far superior as a single player RPG. The quests are good, the monsters challenging, and Gwent... dear god... best game within a game, period.

This game is a great game, you can spend (or waste) many hours playing this game. There are times you die too easily, and loads take a bit longer than you'd like, but it's still worth it in the end. You;ll keep coming back for more. This game definitely earns its mature rating and strong caution should be taken,

Without a doubt this is one of the best games I've played for the Xbox One. Countless hours of gameplay and not to mention the free DLC's. Graphics are just as good. If you are looking for a game that will give you hours of enjoyment this is it.

If you've played either of the previous Witcher games, you should know what to expect from the third. This is a Mature action based RPG with strong story elements. Not for children, perfect for adults. If you were a fan of the first two, pick this up. If you didn't care for the first 2, stay away from this one.

I would highly recommend this especially if you like to play a game that involves roaming around during story mode and afterwards! I just hope they add more to meeting all characters even after finishing because you can only find some of them and not all of some of the main characters, but great game overall!

Been playing games since the early 80s. Have played it all....but I do have to say this game is amazing. The best all around game I have ever played. The attention to detail is inspiring. Other developers need to look at what was accomplished...how clean and deep the game play world is. It truly is amazing.

You really get your money's worth with this game. I am 10 hours in and have barely touched what the game has to offer. I have seen how the developers care for their game over the past weeks with free DLC and patches. Do not hesitate to add this to your library - easily one of the best games of the year.

While I enjoyed Witcher 2 this one is just alright. While the graphics are good, they haven't blown me away. I have experienced some frame rate issues and even cut scenes seem to stutter. As a fan of games like Skyrim, Darksouls, and even Fable my expectations for these types of games continue to grow. This game is brings little new to the genre and is just up to par with its counterparts.

I don't have that much playtime, maybe 10 hours so far, but I'm loving what I have seen. Plenty of side quests/contracts to do so I haven't needed to do any grinding to move up levels. There are a fair amount of cut scenes, so if you don't like games with cut scenes this might not be the game for you.

This is a great game. It can be overwhelming at first but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it. Try to balance your side questing along with the main story as you level up. The game runs great and the world is huge and busy. You don't need to play the previous Witcher games to play this one.

This is a great game. 50+ hours into this, and I barely seem to have scratched the surface, mainly with all the extra exploring I do. I thought DA: Inquisition had a large world, but W3 is massive. It's fun. Tons of things to do. Just don't play on anything other than Death March or it's too easy.

I have only played a few levels into the main character and I've already easily put in 5 hours into it. The open world is so vast and there is something to do at every turn. If the game alone isn't enough the developers are giving 16 DLC downloads for free. Great game and I can't wait to Play more.

I'm a casual gamer who usually doesn't tackle an RPG as epic as this one, but was convinced to give it a try due to the exceptional reviews. I was blown away. Fantastic action sequences, meaningful character developement, and a fun story that keeps me coming back for more. Highly recommended.

The gameplay is a little different from what you are used to from Witcher 2, but you get used to it. My son and I are both playing the game and we can not get enough of it!! I have to get up at 4:30 am and if it wasn't for the weekend I would probably get fired, because I CANNOT stop playing!!!!

I snagged the game on a Black Friday special for $25, and free shipping. There's not a single dollar that went to waste, this game is worth the full $60. Just don't get it if you don't want to put in the hundred hours it needs to fully enjoy. :) the hype around it is totally real though!

All I can say is wow! New to the franchise, I had no idea what I was missing. So gorgeous and so gigantic!

This game is enormous and offers hundreds of hours of fun. Even the collectible card minigame alone promises to take up at 30 hours of my free time. The standard edition of the game packs in so many extras you'll feel like you bought the collectors edition. I would recommend this to anyone.

It does its job well. It's an interesting world and there is plenty to do. A great investment for RPG fans.
