Ghost Recon has always been a story based game. With Wildlands Ubisoft tried a new approach of making it a open world type gaming environment. Meaning that you are free to pretty much do what you want & go where you want to complete missions & advance the games plot. It is remarkably similar to far Cry 3 & 4. So similar that is seems like a re-skinning of those games but without the halfway decent stories that the Far Cry games provide. The problem with Wildlands is you do not feel compelled to really do any of the missions to progress the story because there is basically no story. The missions are repetitive and offer no worthwhile rewards. You can find parts to upgrade some of your weapons and that is about the only rewards you get. If you played the Far Cry games you might like this game. But you also might just bored of this game because you already played the better versions of this game in Far Cry.

This game is a lot better then cod or Battle Field, story mode is super long with lots and lots of missions

Some of my buddies picked this up. I saw some of the reveiws and was skeptical, but if you like open world games - this game is a lot of fun. Some minor bugs, but overall a very good game. Don't let the comparisons to the Division throw you off, I didn't enjoy division. Also, surprisingly this game is just as fun single player.

Massive map to explore. Good coop action. Fun to play.

First of all the game world if huge. There are so many missions it's not even funny. The game is ok alone with the AI squad becuase they are smart and handle themselves great. The game really shines when you are playing with friends. And gets to be a lot of fun when something goes wrong during a mission.

This is a pretty fun game. Lots of action and story.

I love all tom clancy games. If you love sneaking around and taking out enemies this is the game for you.

The Ghost Recon series had gotten stale for me but Wildlands has definitely not disappointed. The single player campaign is fine but the multiplayer is simply awesome! Ubisoft is continuously adding content and keeping the game fresh and exciting. This is a must have in a gamer's collection!

I am a huge cod fan so I am used to a guided campaign. When I first played it I was disappointed. Once I saw the benefit of freedom of movemental i was hooked. Love this game. You do get missions to complete as you progress through the game by obtaining objects or killing cartel thugs. Great graphics.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is simply a fun romp through a maze of terrains and environments scattered across Bolivia. The game really shines when playing with friends or others for 4-player coop. I would recommend this game if you enjoy co-op and what to explore this vast Tom Clancy experience with friends.

I love Ghost Recon Wildlands, incredibly fun game and super involved story line. The entire production was really well done. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was how hard it was to drive some of the vehicles. I got a good 6 months of game play out of this one, which was worth it to me.

Excellent game good graphics nice plot good action

This game gets some grief for it's boring voice acting. But since this game has been enhanced for the Xbox One X...the gorgeous scenery far outweighs any qualms about the acting. One of the most vast and beautiful open world games I've ever played. Playing with a friend or 2 makes the experience 10x better.

Fun Game, online co-op and story are entertaining.

On its own, Ghost Recon is a fairly shallow, somewhat xenophobic romp through Bolivia. With 4 player online co-op, everything changes, making it one of my favorite multiplayer experiences in recent memory. Check it out if you play online with friends frequently. If that doesn't apply to you, consider skipping it.

It is a well-made game and solid compared to the others in the series. Not many changes regarding actual gameplay and the story does drift a bit. Otherwise, buy this if you absolutely must have the next chapter in the saga. Very good graphics and gameplay. Time for a change to the story though.
