Just ok. Expected a little more. FPS games need overhauled.

I think is was bull that this game was for online only.

If the Call of Duty or Battlefield games aren't the kind of First Person Shooter experience you want, then this might be the best alternative. The closest game to compare it to is CounterStrike, which has been a staple on the PC gaming platform for years. The PvP multiplayer is round-based with each team taking turns defending and attacking an objective, be it a bomb, a human hostage, or a small area on each map. There is also a co-operative mode called Terrorist Hunt which allows up to 5 players to work together in eliminating bad guys controlled by the computer. Instead of a single-player campaign, there are 10 missions (called "situations") that familiarize the user with each operator's unique in-game abilities. It still has some bugs, glitches and instability during online play, but Ubisoft will likely get a handle on fixing a majority of them within a matter of weeks. Despite these issues, it's one of the most "cerebral" shooters available on consoles.

Rainbow 6 Siege has just about everything I love in a tactical shooter. I grew up playing America's Army where every shot counted and a single round could take someone out. R6 focuses on coordinated teamwork and careful shooting while making the game fun with gadgets that one would find believable in real life scenarios of today. Tactics like using drones to spot your target so you know exactly where you and your team need to go and what kind of obstacles are in the way. Using breaching charges to create new points of entry. Many walls are destructable and doors can be barricaded and booby-trapped. The randomization of hiding spots as well as npcs in terro hunt creates a new experience each time. R6 is not without it's issues. I have been disconnected at times and there still could be work on punishing team killers; however, my incidents with these things has been relatively few. In addition, with each patch, improvements are made to the stability and netcode of the game creating a better experience. If you like a challenging shooter where real-life strategy and teamwork are required to do well, you'll enjoy this game. If you're a run-and-gun CoD fan, this game will probably be too difficult for you to enjoy. Buy It!

A creative tactical first person shooter. The difference between this and other popular titles is that you rely on your teammates and only have one life. Thinking out your route and adjusting your tactics based on the hostage situation. Breach doors and use your teams skills to win. People that want to die 50 times and respawn in a round this game is not for you or those with ADD or Seizures

This game has the worst servers ever.There is also a noticeable controller lag on this game stay faraway

Rainbow Six Siege is a breath of fresh air in today's modern and fast-paced first-person shooters. The game is realistic, fun and addictive but suffers from various server issues that seem they will be fixed as time goes by.

I'll start with saying I'm not a COD fan. I do not like spamming X to hurry and respawn to run around trying to shoot someone in the back before I get shot in the back. This game slows down the pace and rewards strategy. Hit detection is excellent and teamwork is a must. I love the way they built strategy into every aspect of the game, from attacking or defending. If you are not a fan of mass respawning, running and gunning, then this is a must have! Best shooter out right now.

This game is really a one of kind. You only have one life and you really need to work together with your team in order to be successful. The game really is fun and I enjoyed it however I don't like how you cant customize the operators, not to many maps to play, no campaign, each operator only gets like 2 weapons to choose from, and the servers are really quite bad and are always kicking me and my friends out of games. Other than that though the game really is pretty fun.

Picked this game up about a week ago and haven't been able to put it down. Rainbow Six Siege is an amazing tactical shooter that focuses on communication, tactics and preparation. What I really love about it is that you don't need to have a team or even a headset to enjoy the game. You can do solo missions to get the hang of game mechanics. You can do a terrorist hunt solo or use matchmaking. If you're feeling a bit more competitive you can enter multiplayer for casual or ranked game play. Gameplay is smooth and the developers have really been great with updates, bug fixes and pushing out content. Siege is a great game whether you have a squad or are doing it solo. Keep in mind that this game is not to be played like call of duty. If you run right into battle hoping to get a sweet multi kill you will most likely be put down quickly.

I had to repurchase the same game from the Playstation Store. So I will never purchase a Pre-owned game from Best Buy again.

Think of counter-strike, but better in almost every way. You then have Rainbow Six Siege. Multiple "classes" called operators allow each player to have one unique skill set to bring to the 5 man squad. There are separate operators for defense and assault. The destruction in the game is also one of a kind. You will be able to shoot small "peek" holes so you can cover multiple rooms at once. But be aware enemies can easily shred you through drywall with a hail of bullets. Overall a very intense and unique game where teamwork is emphasized over lone wolf gameplay. While one very skilled player can make the difference in winning a round, it is not always so or likely. Enjoy the game!

This game is absurdly fun and, despite what you might think, just doesn't get old. It is a different take on shooters and it is, in my opinion, better. Not only is the gameplay fantastic, but the weapon customization is a nice touch as is the characters. The attacking and defending characters are a great idea and they did an excellent job of giving each one a special feel that you not only can use, but can use to your advantage. This is a special game that is going to be a blast once i can progress towards unlocking everything. A MUST BUY.

So downloaded the beta. And played it online. This is a very tactical, and team game. Some things you have to really work to unlock. But this game was really fun. Really addictive, it drew me in from the intro. And wow. I'd recommend this to older people. Not kids. Bc this isn't cod, alot more thinking and planning, and concentration. Picking up the full game today!

This is a great game if you have 4 other friends to play it with. There is a single player section but it is very short. The multiplayer stuff is for a 5 man team and requires real teamwork!

You going to be sweating and raging playing this game. not for the casual player, you must be on high alert on all senses to be decent. great multiplayer game

Has a bit of everything: thinking out strategies, doing recon, communicating actually helping the team big time, specializing with a different characters' abilities. Not a fast paced shooter like the others, but it has it's intense moments. Also a great spectator game if you have another person in the room (girlfriend, etc). I say this because it is not all mindless shooting, so the spectator in your life will get to know some of the strategies and abilities and may enjoy watching (at least more than the average shooter). After dying, you can watch your teammates / cameras as well which may be good for finding out what to do/not do in game.

I was skeptical at first because I wasn't a fan of the older rainbow games but after watching my brother play this I know it's worth every penny. So much different than the typical fps out there, I've played it myself now and it's a lot of fun. There's so much more to it than "point and shoot" you literally have to prepare yourself with the right tactical equipment to help you and your team survive and win. You only get 1 life per round so you learn to make every tactical decision count...

Excellent game despite the issue with the servers. Lots of fun and team work!

Game play is solid. Maps are beautiful although after a while it gets repetitive doing the same thing on the same maps. Wish their was a random map generator (like I wish every game with multiplayer had ) I know, I Know to much to ask. It would be nice at a minimum to randomly move the objectives. Its pretty fun but if I did it all over again would wait till its at the most 30 bucks.
