This game is definitely one of the best first person shooters available and should be a part of any fan's collection of the genre. The graphics and gameplay are smooth as can be with great sound as well. The story takes place with our hero fighting off the enemy with their advanced weaponry making for a good challenge but not being frustrating. The game provides a good length of gaming and always keeps you coming back to see what's next. The follow-up game "Old Blood" is another great game in the series and the upcoming "Colossus" looks to be even better. Highly Recommended!

There's nothing truly innovative about this game so if you're looking specifically for that, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking to be pleasantly surprised by a solid game that entails excellent graphics, a well told story, great voice acting and solid gameplay that manages to balance both stealth and the guns blazing style, you really can't go wrong with this game. And for a SP only game it actually offers replayability as well! There are two different story lines based on choices presented to you! Overall, a surprisingly great game that I highly recommend.

I had previously played this game on PS3 and after I got my XBOX ONE I got the prequel game (old blood) which was great. On Black Friday I grabbed this on sale and even though I played it a few years ago it was still a long game and well worth the price.

This game is a lot more than the FPS games that come out yearly - it is very imaginative in its art design of a world where Germany won WWII. The story is well-written, but can also be self-referential and satirical. Fun experience, highly recommended.

Full disclosure, I haven't beaten the game yet but so far it is just as, if not more so, graphically impressive than BF4 which was the first shooter i bought for the XBone. The game play is much smoother, and so far the story line has been excellent, I'm a huge history buff and there is a lot of plausible alternate reality sci-fi going on here. It has undertones of the original Wolfenstein 3D but has the modern pure shooter feel as well gives you the option for more stealthy play through. Lots of secrets to unlock, and I like the control scheme and using the Dpad for more than just direction.

Solid gunplay, difficulty, and weapon variety. The FPS's genre seems to be focused on multiplayer gaming so it's good to finally have a game that is more focused on a challenging single player experience. A must buy for any FPS fan who wants a challenge.

Overall one of the best Wolfenstein's I've personally played in years. Great story line for the SP part. Probably about the only disappointing side is the no multiplayer... still its worth the money!

At first, the game did not meet my expectations. But you have to get past the first level, and the game improves dramatically. So don't judge the game by the first level. I really enjoyed the story. Stick with it and you will too.

Love the alternate Universe story. Fun shooter, great graphics, really good AI as enemies will follow you and try to flank you. Interesting weapons. NOT for children. Mature audiences only due to language, graphic violence and adult situations

I really like this game ,whats cool is its only to be played by one person, The people look so real , Its cool to because it is a story , like watching a movie , You pick locks and start car , Not for under 17 yrs old

This is great game. It is challenging and even give you a chance to play the retro version of the original. The story is pretty good as well.

Maybe I'm just getting old. Makes the early ones look like, well, the older ones. Awesome graphics. Spooky feel. Definitely playable. Need my old reflexes.

If you enjoyed the old school wolfenstein games, you will enjoy this. It is a great new entry in the series, avoiding the mistakes of other huge departures (IE, the 2009 reboot...). It's short - All achievements in the game can be earned in about 12 hours. You can play through the story twice to get two different minor changes (Save one character or save the other...) but this is a small distraction at best. With no multiplayer, the game is better for a rental or purchase at $30 or less.

The game reminds me of 1998 or so when returned to castle wolfenstein came out and played it for hours. Same features here, not too hard and not too easy. Replay value is good. Hope they develop a multiplayer.

The game has a variety of guns and objectives. I bout it because I've liked he others in the series and wanted a run and gun experience. I got what I wanted so I am happy with the purchase.

Wolfenstein is an enjoyable game. Some parts of the game remind you of previous Wolfenstein games. The story is very good. Game takes about 11 hours to beat and unfortunately there is no multiplayer.

This game grips you right from the start (SPOILER ALERT) 30min intruduction into the game. It is truly an next Gen. console Gem! It's really graphic so leave your liitle brother n sister out of this one. Rated M

I have a long history with iD's work and they never really let me down. Their return into developing the Wolfenstein games is just really effective. It plays well while having an interesting story and presentation. I will also say that the premise of an alternate history where Germany won World War II is pretty interesting. While it isn't 100% original, see/read The Man in the High Castle, it's always an interesting story idea for resistance sci-fi stories.

Wolfenstein delivers on the background visuals and thrills. It sticks to the core of a Wolfenstein game which gives it a classic feel; but, would not define it as evolutionary in any way.

Overall I think this is a very good game the graphics are done well and the scale of the missions are grand and fun. I played the first wolfenstein and have also really liked this one.
