Customers are saying

Customers find value in the gameplay, large roster of wrestlers, and improved career mode of WWE 2K16. Many appreciate the inclusion of wrestlers from different eras and the ease of learning the game. However, some users find the control scheme and submission system challenging, and a few have noted difficulty with certain moves and AI opponents. The overall experience is largely positive, but improvements could be made to address these specific concerns.

...but that's not saying much. The roster is better developed for sure. CAW and the full creation suite is great, and there are some really fun moves in there. But the story and Universe mode fall so flat that this game really only shines when you have someone to play it with. Even as a wrestling fan I find it hard to want to play. The season pass has some great content but it's too expensive. I picked up the game for around $37.00 after the Gamer's Club discount and pre-order - so I'm completely unwilling to spend almost the same amount for a season pass that has 8 new wrestlers and a handful of moves.

But the presentation is a huge step in the right direction. Controls took a bit to get used to. The create a superstar seems pretty deep. The real calls when you play the showcase mode make the game that much better.

I haven't bought a WWE game in a long time because I felt they were much the same. I played a little bit of last years & decided to buy 2k16. Can't compare it to older ones but I like it a lot better than 2k15. I've been playing it more that what I thought!

Growing up in the attitude era, I have had a great time playing through the Steve Austin mode. The career mode has a lot more depth compared to last year's game. And I am a huge fan of the inclusion of NXT.

As a long time fan of the WWE and the games they put out I can honestly say this game is a pleasant improvement. The graphics are phenomenal as is the gameplay. The re-addition of game features, including create a championship, are highly welcomedz

I got this as a gift but switched it for the xbox one version. Fun game. Typical wwe game. The huge roster pulled me in but left me underwhelmed. I always end up picking the same few wrestlers anyways.

Great game with some really fun modes! MyCareer can get a little repetitive, but you can change up your custom wrestler to keep things fresh. Biggest pitfall is the horrendous new submission mechanics.

This years version is much more better then wwe 2k15 it has a lot more wrestlers right from the start of the game rather then having to wait to unlock them in previous years and the gameplay seems a lot more realistic you won't be disappointed

For every Step in the right direction, one mistep, Better animations, worse graphics. Bigger roster, boring choices. Better gameplay , more glitches etc.

It's really good with a lot of wrestlers....however it's still missing some really good ones....where's Sasha? You can create her but still...good game but it's like madden...there's one every year

WWE 2k16 is a fun game. Its missing some Hall of Fame wrestlers, such as my favorite wrestler Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon, but its still a great game. Reversals are better and takes some practice.

This year was the second WWE game for the next gen consoles. there was a overhaul in the control scheme in which seems more fluent and tripled the roster from last year.(no more 2-5 costumes for a character and have it as a supposed new character). But the presentation overall seemed worse than last year. female characters have same painted smiles, rope detection over the tope(get the pun), and commentary limited(even though added JBL to the group). and unfortunately for fans this is the only wrestling game until we see how they improve on next year.

2K has improved many things that were wrong with 2K15 and this year's edition is pretty good. There are still some flaws, but overall it is a great game. I would recommend for any WWE fan.

My husband loves this game. I even like it and am tempted to play it, though I haven't played a wrestling game since the PS2. He gets into the Stone Cold story and it's entertaining to watch. The graphics are great, to boot.

The game was bought as a gift but watching my hubby play it I see some issues with it. Some of the moves are a little hard to get the hang of and the computer can recover way to quick.

Very slick detail in the graphics and how they followed the PPV event stories in the Austin mode. Entrances are the best to date, I thought being able to attack your opponent during the entrance was a nice touch as well.

WWE 2K16 is much improved from last year's game on PS4 / XBO and from this year's games on PS3 / 360. Online play is much less laggy. Still some floatiness in the controls, though.

Having grew up during the attitude era and seeing stone cold on the front cover. I just had to get this; the graphics is outstanding, but I'm not a fan of the controls. The part where you have to move both control sticks really bothers me. And the AI reverses everything and it gets annoying. I'll just stick with watching WWE on television.
