Was having severe pain in my arm. I'm a CPA; work up to 16 hrs a day. Couldn't believe the diff in just a day. Immediately recog the difference between having my arm in an outward extended position with hand down vs a handshake position. Got the mouse only a few days before appt with ortho to find out why I had lost range of motion in my arm. Cortisone relieved the inflam, a few exercises a day, within 3 wks, I had almost full range back. I think the new mouse kept my from aggravating the problem, allowing my muscles to heal!

we have several users here who like the vertical mice. It gives your wrist a more natural position. If one of our users complains about their wrist, I suggest trying one of these.

I switched to this vertical mouse from a more traditional ergonomic mouse due to arm pain. The Evoluent works great. Be sure to check for the right size before ordering.

I only use vertical mice because of wrist issues, and this one is pretty good. I also needed wired because of Bluetooth interference in my office. This mouse does have a little bit of a learning curve, but after a while it's seamless. Programmable buttons are nice, but you'll probably remove functionality from the middle button- it's too easy to accidentally click

This product is great if you have pain from repetitive strain. I personally have fibromyalgia and TOS and was in extreme pain from over use and repetitive strain. I saw a big improvement in the first week, and the pain continues to decrease. I will never go back to a standard mouse again!

I've been using a non-bluetooth version of this most for 7 years when I first started feeling a wrist ache and early signs of carpel tunnel. When the wired version broke down and I decided to upgrade to a bluetooth version. I regularly use Windows, Chromebook and iOS and it works seamless on all 3 of my devices. Can't recommend enough - worth the money!

The Evoluent wireless mouse is a must have item

This mouse is the best thing since sliced bread. I was having serious problems with my wrist and arm from being on the computer so much. After doing a fair amount of research I purchased one for the office and it solved all my problems. Once I had one at the office I had to get one for home as well. Trust and believe, you will not be disappointed one bit if you purchase an Evoluent mouse. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this item a 15!

This is the second one of these I’ve owned. The last one lasted about 6 years. My wrist gets tired being on a computer all day. This takes care of that problem immediately.

High Learning Curve, Drivers a Must

Must be able to install drivers to program the second button to Right-Click instead of the third button on right side. I work for DoD so I cannot have drivers installed or wireless/blue tooth mice which makes this mouse too expensive. I don’t want to train my motor skills at home where I can install the drivers I really needed something for work. I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Hard to find plug and play ergonomic mice that are not wireless!

    Stopped having Wrist Pain

My employer gave me Evolent Vertical Mouse after I started having wrist pain and I stopped having issues while at work. Unfortunately I was still suffering at home with a traditional mouse. After trying some cheaper alternatives I eventually purchased one for home. It took me about a week to get used to the vertical mouse but now I’m hooked.

    Great Ergonomic Mouse

I owned two of these: one for the office (pre-Covid19) and one for home. They helped with my carpal tunnel syndrome. When I use someone else's regular mouse, my CTS comes back. My mice lasted several years (7 and 9 years) and I recently purchased a new replacement for the home mouse. The issue started with the right-click starting to malfunction. I've dropped them on the floor occasionally but they have lasted me a long time despite the long use and numerous drops. I also own the small wireless version (brown vs purple color) but I prefer wired because I don't like the response latency.

Easy to set up. Ergonomic features are fantastic. I was issued one by my company for wrist strain. I tried to use my traditional mouse at home but was like trying to write with my left hand (I'm right handed). Worth every penny.

I purchased this mouse due to a hand injury and it works great. The comfort is amazing and the ease of use and setup are amazing as well. The only drawback is the sensitive buttons and lack of finger space to rest while just browsing online.

I tried two other mice and the VM4 is far far the best. My only complaint is it's size. A little large but other than that it performs well.

I'm happy with my purchase thus far. The mouse is comfortable and easy to use. The lip on the bottom that's used as a pinky rest is a great design feature that similar pointers do not have. It's best used with a wrist rest, which I have yet to purchase.
