As usual, it has its share of tongue-in-cheek "Claypoolisms" and I liked it but, not as much as my 15 year-old who is an aspiring bass player and quintessential Primus fan. Gonna put it in a few more times before I decide for sure how much i like it because it doesnt seem geared towards the casual fans like myself but its surely worth a listen.

This is a great CD! After seeing the show I picked it up and it made me enjoy the music even more!

Love the small cd selection at best buy. Always something different to choose from. Cool shirt came with the Primus CD

but primus are art personified, and while its no frizzle fry, its a must have for all of us who think Primus Sucks!!!

Love the innovative take on the music from the classic movie! I'm looking forward to seeing it performed live.

This Surface Pro 3 is replacing my i5 15" laptop (and borrowing my wife's iPad!).

Primus has always been creative and this album is as creative as it gets.

We saw them in concert & it was fabulous!! Can't wait till the next one.

Not many bands could successfully pull off a tribute to the Chocolate Factory. Primus is not one of those bands. In fact, Primus is THE perfect band to take on the task. As one would guess, this is not a 1:1 cover of the original film soundtrack. Liberties are taken and rightfully so. Golden Ticket, for example, is quite a stretch from the original. The point can be argued that this isn't true and pure Primus since the Fungi Ensemble have been brought in to accompany the core band. As a matter of opinion (get it?), the additional musicians are a perfect fit for this particular record. For the next studio outing (of original material), though, I'll happily welcome back Primus and Primus only.

This is Primus' take on the soundtrack of the 1971 original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory movie. Considering this as a cover album, Primus were able to do a great job giving their own sound to these songs, making a very refreshing and interesting sounding album. There are no hard-rockers here, mainly quirky fun songs with interesting instrumentation similar to Claypool's solo album Of Fungi and Foe. Great listen. The package also included a very cool large size t-shirt with the album logo. Definitively worth the extra money!

Les Claypool and his merry band of Oompa Loompas keep trying new things and expanding the level of weird, and it sounds great! My favorites are Golden Ticket and I Want It Now. "If you are wise, you will buy this CD."

The original line up is back and this cd delivers as promised. A trippy, surreal retelling of the Willy Wonka classic. Awesome with headphones, really dark and weird .

I absolutely love this CD. I grew up on the movie and Primus did an excellent job with remaking the soundtrack. Expected strange and eclectic, wasn't disappointed.

Great take to the the soundtrack to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Definitely has that strangeness that you'd find in a Primus album!

As a fan of PRIMUS & WILLY WONKA, I think this greatly represents both in a way that can appeal to a large audience! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This album is Delicious!!!!! Les & the Fungi ensemble take you on a fantastically delightful adventure into all things Wonka!

One of the best bands of all time. A demented view of the soundtrack to willie wonka.

It's Primus, need I say more? Very unique sounding as all of their albums are.

This is pretty much what it says it is, but waaaaay funked up.
