HP Printer and driver version
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The technician was very professional but had limited knowledge of the printer’s more advanced settings. I had to reach out to HP in order to get the correct driver version to meet my printing needs. Once that was accomplished - it took about two hours to figure out the issue. Best Buy should make sure that its specialists advise their clients when they should reach out to HP. I purchased a more expensive printer when the issue was really a driver issue.

4 ft. Micro USB 3.0 Charge/Sync Cable

I was extremely grateful that Best Buy had the cable on hand. It was that simple item that was pertinent to have in order to back up my pictures on the hard drive.

Geek Squad fixed my printer in record time!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad young man who came to trouble shoot my HP ENVY 6455e All in One Series printer was very knowledgeable and efficient. He had my printer back in operation in record time. It had been installed initially by a family member who wasn't aware that a driver needed to be installed. I love my printer and I'm so happy to have it working again. I am a happy Best Buy customer.

Geek Squad connected new cable to my printer.

She explained every step she took to arrive at the right solution. She was polite and very courteous.I was very impressed with her skills and knowledge. She is an asset to your organization. I will recommend her to all my friends.

Just excellent

He was efficient and professional. He was also courteous and patient with all my many questions. He notified when he was expected to arrive and followed instructions for getting around my apartment building complex with ease. PLUS he completed the job in record time! I am very pleased with his service. You can always count on Best Buy and the Geek Squad.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a top Lenovo computer together with the Microsoft Office Home & Student package to use for travel and also to have files from an old computer transfered to it. The files were transfered; however, Outlook did not work. When I took the computers back to the Geek Squad to have the problem solved, I was met with Lynn who repeatedly told me that we had only 20 minutes of her time. We also noticed that two other Geek Squad men were spending well over 30 minutes helping another customer with his technical issues. Lynn did not solve the problem, was repeatedly curt, interspersed with instructions. Being long time Best Buy customers and subscribers to Best Buy Technical Support, we were disappointed with Lynn's service and attitude. If she did not know how to solve the problem, we would have been happy to wait and work with someone who did. We have always had superior service and support from the Geek Squad previously. We are now wondering if we should once again request Geek Squad help solve the problem.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My laptop sat for a few years after being hacked. I took a chance and brought it in to Best Buy to possibly resurrect it. They did it! It had to be wiped, but it was ready for pick up in a day!

Ernesto of Geek Squad ia a true professional star!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ernesto of Geek Squad came to our home on time, unboxed our new Epson printer/scanner, set it up to our iMac, confirmed the WiFi connection was available, ran some scanner and printer tests, and explained how it should work. Ernesto is knowledgeable professional and offered excellent service! In my opinion he should be promoted to CEO of BestBuy.

He also gave me a tutorial on the scanning method, which was very different than what I had used in the past.

Knowledgeable Worker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I felt this agent was very knowledgeable and helpful in this situation, since it was the 3rd attempt to get this done. However, I was very upset when he informed me, that Best Buy will start charging ,Total Tech members 20% off the price of the visits to have any in home work done at residence. If the company is tracking how many times people are using the service, then they should start having a different plan so they don't abuse it. In other words, why not have the first 10 visits in a year for free like normal? And then the people who abuse it. You can start charging them if they have too many in home visits. Looking at my track record. I haven't had that many,So why should I be penalized? I probably look like I have a couple more than normal. But it's because the job was not completed to the satisfaction of the company so I had to contact BestBuy again to get somebody out here to complete the original work order. The worker explained everything to my satisfaction. And knew his job well plus I could understand him. When I had questions he was able to resolve. It was a good answer.
