Unable to complete evaluation due to Computer Wifi

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad employee identified problem with WiFi as a fried WiFi hardware and suggested 2 solutions: 1) hardwiring to Ethernet or 2) purchasing a new computer due to the age of the HP computer. Visited Best Buy and the Salesperson came up with another solution - buying a WiFi Adapter for less than $40; it works fine! Now I am still needing a solution to an inoperable Printer; message talks about an incompatible cartridge. I did purchase a black cartridge from Walmart but it was not cheap! back to square one -unable to use the 8710 ( a relatively new Pro 8710) purchased from Best Buy.
