The reason for my low rating is not directly related to the Geek that tried to “fix” my computer/printer issue. It is related, rather, to the entire “Geek Squad” department. While I tried to be very specific in telling them the details of my issue, I never felt that anyone really listened to me, and when the technician arrived at my house, I again tried to explain what I needed to have done, but he proceeded to “try” it his way, which never worked. Then he wanted me to let his supervisor attempt to resolve my issue at another appointment, but by that time I was pretty sure that none of their team had any clue as to how to calibrate my computer screen and my professional photo printer so that what I see on my screen is exactly how my printed photos would look. My research indicates that it requires calibration software, but no one would ever even listen to me when I mentioned it to them. Guess I’ll have to buy the software and try it myself, or find a techie who is willing to help me in following instructions. Sorry Geek Squad, but not listening to your clients’ needs resulted in this negative review.

I got a new printer because HP stopped supporting my old one and stopped selling the ink for it. I hired the Geek Squad to install the new printer and to also set Roku up on my year old TV. The printer worked fine as long as I printed and copied, but when I decided to scan, I spent and many phone calls to HP before I was able to scan. The Roku still does not work on the TV except maybe when I unplug it. I am NOT impressed.

The Geeks always come through. They set up my printer efficiently.

I would have liked to have more instruction on how to use the copy feature of my new HP printer. There doesn't seem to be anything in writing that I can follow.
