    The first in-home agent broke my furniture and left with the printer NOT be functioning properly. Also he left my desktop computer messed up - I wound up figuring it out to get it working again The 2nd agent, Dave, was much better. After leaving, he followed up when I sent him an S.O.S. It still has issues though.

    Too many cooks in the kitchen

    What was supposed to be a plug in and start printing with an easy internet connection, turned into 5 different Geek agents (3 by phone, 1 in store and 1 home visit) with different inputs. Thank goodness for the final in home visit and my all tech coverage. We are finally printing and scanning, but really?

    Agent tried to set up printer. After he left it never worked. I would print and it would come out 2 weeks later. Not happy.

    Geek Squad partially setup my printer.

    The agent (KG) did not set the time and date on my printer. After calling him (twice) and bringing it to his attention, he said he would not return to set the time and date because it was not his responsibility. As a result, my documents are currently printing with the incorrect time and date. However, he (KG) took it upon himself to remove my Eset Antivirus from my computer without my permission because it popped up and he said it was bothering him. This should not have been his concern and was definitely not his responsibility!! He then tried to sell me the Webroot Antivirus, which I did not purchase. He inserted a device in my computer resembling a flash drive. When I questioned him and ask what he was doing, he said it was his tools used to remove the Eset Antivirus. Although he told me that his device would not copy, I was concerned and uncomfortable because I wasn’t sure if he was downloading sensitive information. This agent (KG) can definitely benefit from further training.

    Geek Squad Failed (twice)

    The agent claimed that he fixed the problem Best Buy caused when they replaced my hard drive and updated me to Windows 10...the problem being that my printer no longer communicated with the computer after the upgrades. An online attempt to fix the problem with Geek Squad failed, so I scheduled an on site appointment. The agent said some software had been corrupted. He printed a test sheet from the computer to the printer and it printed. The problem is that the printer still won't print anything from the computer, so I paid $ to Best Buy for no results. Just to be clear...there were no problems before the upgrade. The problem occurred immediately after the upgrade, so the upgrade caused the problem. I have a service contract with Best Buy, but it seems to have done me no good. If anyone actually is reading this review, can you contact me to figure out another solution?

    Agent did not connect the printer to all my devices. He was supposed to get back to me the following week but did not. It quit working altogether so I left another message but it was not answered. A friend got it working but once again it is not working.

    Disappointed result from Geek Squad technician.

    The technician from Geek Squad, Steve, failed to get my desktop PC linked to my new HP Officejet 9015e. When he left at 5:05 pm, he stated that it was all set up. It is not.

    My two month old HP computer crashed knocking Windows —and blocking my access to any files. Two calls to on line help failed to resolve the matter and I was directed to the Arlington, VA store. The tech started. To work on it. He could not explain how or why the problem developed—but it seemed to be related to Microsoft wanting to send “an upgrade” in my Windows 10 program. He started to create a new site—trying to transfer file to the new site. He promised that the repair would be ready by the next evening. This did not happen. I got a call from another tech who seemed not to know whet was going on. It is impossible to contact the store or the Geek Squad site by phone. No one answers the phone. INdeed when I called this afernoon, the automated service said that it could not identify the Service Order. It had previously indicated that the work was still in process. WHen I went back to my IPad and accessed the Geek Squad site, it indicated that the “work was in progress”. So the telephone and the IPad connections produced contrary information!

    connecting the all in one printer

    Very disappointed. Technician came to the house all business , confident that my problem could be fixed. I had asked in my order to connect the printer and especially the importance of the printer/scanner connection. We got the printer connected in a few minutes and spent the rest of the time trying and failing to fix the scanner. He blamed the WiFi connection that it would not hold a connection to download software. He spoke very fast and to a non-tech person - me, so he was hard to follow. My internet and WiFi consistency and connection are good and although it could be the problem I was not convinced and lost confidence in the technician. To add to the loss of credibility, he said he would call in the afternoon to set up a another visit to work on the WiFi and he could probably to be available on Tuesday. Neither of these two promises happened and I have not heard a word until this survey. Thanks for asking and I hope it helps. The story is longer but not worth it.

    It was not a TV I asked them out here to connect all my devices including my printer so I could print emails and other things he did not do that all he did was tell me my Xfinity password and username and the printer did work till about 10 minutes after he left I tried to call him I left several messages to his answering service he never replied back I'm still sitting here with no way to print my emails or anything else without doing it manually he did nothing !

    Technician seemed to have difficulty instilling the cartridge in the interior of the printer, not the ink cartridge. Although the technician printed one sheet before he left, the printer did not print consistently after he left and posted only a partial message, directing me to reinstall the cartridge that the technician installed.
