connecting the all in one printer

Technician came to the house all business , confident that my problem could be fixed. I had asked in my order to connect the printer and especially the importance of the printer/scanner connection. We got the printer connected in a few minutes and spent the rest of the time trying and failing to fix the scanner. He blamed the WiFi connection that it would not hold a connection to download software. He spoke very fast and to a non-tech person - me, so he was hard to follow. My internet and WiFi consistency and connection are good and although it could be the problem I was not convinced and lost confidence in the technician. To add to the loss of credibility, he said he would call in the afternoon to set up a another visit to work on the WiFi and he could probably to be available on Tuesday. Neither of these two promises happened and I have not heard a word until this survey. Thanks for asking and I hope it helps. The story is longer but not worth it.

Printer Drivers Lost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two old printers that now do not work, because when The Geek Squad did a clean install to allow an upgrade video card, the drivers to both were erased. Both of my printers now don't work, even though a Geek Squad employee attempted to find and install them.

My printer doesn't work

He left his card and said to call him when I needed to set up another service. I called him 2 1/2 weeks ago and left a message but he never called me back. I DO NOT want Michael Jones back here. I need someone to come back who can fix my new printer and instruct me on how to operate it. He didn't even show me how to turn it on. I had to ask him. I don't even know how the digital readout works and what it means. I've had this printer almost a month and have yet to be able to use it.

Geek Squad service charge useless!!

Although I paid fir the geek squad service, I was told I had to bring my printer in to Bestbuy. After bringing my printer in for Geeksquad appointment, the representative tokd me he "knows nothing" about printers and all he can do is exchange it for a new one (tjis is my second Cannon printer in 2 months). Why did I buy the Geeksquad service for $179?? Very frustrated and disappointed. Plan to take this to senior management.

Home installment of printer

He seemed very impatient and eager to hurry up and finish setting up my printer and didn’t explain things clearly plus didn’t set it up properly. Will use the service again to set up my new printer but will ask for someone else.

He said our system was too old. I checked youtube and did it myself. I have always been very satisfied with all the previous geek squad technicians that I have dealt with.

Not happy

When I tried to print several days later it isn't working from either computer. I had to schedule another appointment for them to come back and it isn't until nearly two weeks. So now I've had this printer for almost a month and still can't use it'

The person who came to install the Printer for wish I have to pay $100.00 did not made in effort to fixed, and the only he did in his visit to our home was to change the cartridge HP 3YM38A, instead of 67XL that I installed.

This normally wouldn’t of been an issue for me, but had major issues. Took a week to get an appointment and was not worth the wait. The technician said he would be a “few minutes”. 1 hour later the technician said he had a lot of trouble installing and “jimmy rigged” the two to work. It worked wireless but not via usb cord. Well, two days later it all stopped working, all new stuff just a poor installation. I called 2 weeks ago for them to come back out (free of charge) and will not have a technician here for another week. Very frustrating! Make sure they do the job correctly! This has cost me major delay with work!
