Mediocre Service

I over bought but Satisfied with the printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not need this particular printer I bought it with the thought that I could print my own photo;s but did not real how much doing so would cost me in ink. It cost me less to have reprints done at the local photo shop would have done better with the less expensive one which I could use to scan and print out documents etc

Printers Not Repaired
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made an appointment to have my printer repaired and followed the prompts on the BestBuy website, which includes "printers". Upon arriving to my appointment, the Geek Squad representative immediately notes, "we don't repair printers." I asked him why I was allowed then to request repair on a "printer"? To which he responded, "I know; I don't know why." It was a waste of my time in setting up the appointment, dropping off the printer, and now looking for repair elsewhere. I do not blame the customer representative. It is not his doing. BestBuy needs to correct this as it is misleading.

At this point i'm at a loss as what to do. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Geek Squad Missed This One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice as he was, my Geek did not do much testing on a printer that nine months ago was printing perfectly. Instead, I was advised to take my printing to Kinkos because trying to do large jobs with a LaserJet would be too expensive - which is right, but the purpose of the visit was to make adjustments to the printer settings and the computer settings to attempt to restore quality so that I can occasionally print a few pages at a quality level. Geek also adjusted my wifi box so that now my wifi falls off on average four to six times daily. The visit was courteous and seemingly helpful, but the result was an unchanged printer with a wifi that now constantly looses connection. I hate to complain, but this was a near total waste of both our time and definitely a waste of my money.

The person who came to install the Printer for wish I have to pay $100.00 did not made in effort to fixed, and the only he did in his visit to our home was to change the cartridge HP 3YM38A, instead of 67XL that I installed.

Windows 10 update my computer and installed to not

I paid $100. extra to have my printers installed to my Windows 10 Computer and also purchased Microsoft office. I have had 3 guys from Geek squad come to my home to set up printer to date to no avail Not everything is installed on my computer so I can't take pictures and upload them from my cameras to my computer. I was advised to purchase Card Camera Reader I read that it ate SD card with pictures on it. My P-Touch printer was suppose to work on my computer it doesn't. etc. etc. etc. I would like all these issues rectified since I paid for them in advance.

Still can’t print

At last visit, I was told I may have to buy an additional cable to connect the printer directly to the Google home network. What? I have already paid for Geek Squad visits and now I have to pay for an extra cable? Not pleased.

Don't try to make an appointment by telephone

But today I tried to make an appointment by telephone, was transferred a total of 5 times, they hung up on me twice and the entire experience (yes, eventually I got an appointment between 7AM and 7PM) took one hour. Worse service ever, I should have gone to the store.

Geek Squad/Bast Buy has crumby ser ice

Four days later,the printer wouldn't print a message said " printer unavaileable".Went back to store and they said i would have to pay another $ 100. I did n't think that was right. Servuce should last more thah few days.They gave me several numbers to call and was put on hold than cut off. Needless to say I still don't have a functioning priner. Probably won' use BB again

problems with new printer

It worked ok for 2 or 3 weeks now I cannot get it to print again. On my way to Best Buy to get geek Squad appointment. Very disappointing.

Overall customer service

The few representatives that I have spoken to via phone to remote in either didn't speak good English where I could understand them (every phone call) or they didn't fix the problem when they remoted in. Actually one rep did something to all my icons as i watched the curser until it said everything I clicked on wasn't found. I've paid for a subscription that has served me no purpose. My printer doesn't print, the appointment dates are so far out yet my printer still doesn't work but I've paid. Anytime I call i get transferred several times. Horrible service with Best Buy/Geek Squad

Printer is "offline" again

A test page was printed before they left and the printer seemed to be working okay. I don't print too often, so when I tried to print an email recently, the printer wad "offline" again.

Won't ever use a Geek Squad person again.

Instead of being talked into spending $200 plus tax to have someone come to my house, I should have called Canon and they would have solved the problem for me. Instead it cost me over $200 to have someone tell me my printer 'probably has a worn out roller' and that's the reason it no longer will push the paper through. Frankly I'd like a refund of about $100 and that would help me give you a good review.
