Still can’t print

At last visit, I was told I may have to buy an additional cable to connect the printer directly to the Google home network. What? I have already paid for Geek Squad visits and now I have to pay for an extra cable? Not pleased.

problems with new printer

It worked ok for 2 or 3 weeks now I cannot get it to print again. On my way to Best Buy to get geek Squad appointment. Very disappointing.

Instead of being talked into spending $200 plus tax to have someone come to my house, I should have called Canon and they would have solved the problem for me. Instead it cost me over $200 to have someone tell me my printer 'probably has a worn out roller' and that's the reason it no longer will push the paper through. Frankly I'd like a refund of about $100 and that would help me give you a good review.

Overall customer service

The few representatives that I have spoken to via phone to remote in either didn't speak good English where I could understand them (every phone call) or they didn't fix the problem when they remoted in. Actually one rep did something to all my icons as i watched the curser until it said everything I clicked on wasn't found. I've paid for a subscription that has served me no purpose. My printer doesn't print, the appointment dates are so far out yet my printer still doesn't work but I've paid. Anytime I call i get transferred several times. Horrible service with Best Buy/Geek Squad

Net Work Problems and printer connections

Printer is "offline" again

A test page was printed before they left and the printer seemed to be working okay. I don't print too often, so when I tried to print an email recently, the printer wad "offline" again.

Big problems after a Geek visit,

He then checked that my laptop in another room also printed. When he left all seemed to be fine. But about 3 hours later my desktop was inoperable. Alerts mentioned Netflix, Email could not be received nor sent. SMTP cannot be reached. Most common was "This site can't be reached www.google.com's server IP address could not be found," Suggestions of a fix yielded nothing. Previous visits by Austin were very successful. But he needs to return so I can use my desktop, I am writing this on my laptop,

Geek did not complete printer installation

Had to use a direct cable to be able to print, no WIFI connection could be established. What the what. So much for plug and play

Once the techs left, I worked out the issue so that I was able to print with no problem. However, I did replace the printer (per tech's suggestion) because I was not able to scan properly.

He refused to set up things like scanning and faxing as he deemed them unnecessary for me! It was an absolute waste of time. All he did was set it up on the desk and plug it in and connect it to the Wi-Fi and computer he did not do anything to Make it work. That is why I got a refund.

Geek Squad did shoddy installation!

He printed something and left. He was miffed because he didn’t understand why he had to come all the way from Brooklyn to Queens. Anyway, I didn’t attempt to use the printer until days later. It printed a few pages then nothing. Long story short, the printer isn’t working. I will have to request another visit, but I’d like to make sure the next agent sent will be from the Valley Stream store and hopefully without an attitude!

When the young man finally finished and left, I thought everything was okay, except for the the fact that he told me a couple of times that now I had a wireless printer. Actually, I did not want a wireless printer. I wanted a printer that would plug in and work. This was not what I got. I discovered that the problem had really not been corrected. Consequently, I am still having the same problem The printer has never been wireless. Again, that is not what I wanted: My printer does not work. I would like to be able to plug everything in correctly and print from the pc.

Geek Squad

We were never notified that the person never came into work after we waited all day. Called the Geek Squad and that appointment was never rescheduled. This has been the worst experience for us because the Geek Squad was always there. Because of this we needed to return the printer and hopefully we will return to buy another one.
