    The tech was very nice but couldn’t set up my printer and I asked to have him set up my new laptop and transfer files from my old which I cannot find on the computer anywhere, so I’m not very happy!

    Nothing wrong with Geek Squad person, liked him, however job never completed. Subsequent appointment set up however such short notice the timing was not correct and never heard from Geek Squad again.

    my fax doesn't work right !! I've called for service got no satisfaction!!! she told me if i wasn't satisfied!! i should cancel the service!!

    the printer only worked for one week if someone was to come out and look at it it would coast us over 100 dollar

    Paid $99 for Geek Squad to set up a $79 printer. Technician not cordial at all, was here less than 15 minutes, did not instruct or explain what was being done, left before the installation was successfully completed to work with all devices. I hope Best Buy will comp another Geek Squad technician to rectify situation but I don’t have much hope for that.

    Big problems after a Geek visit,

    The Geek was Austin, Yesterday he connected the printer to the Desktop and the connection worked well. He then checked that my laptop in another room also printed. When he left all seemed to be fine. But about 3 hours later my desktop was inoperable. Alerts mentioned Netflix, Email could not be received nor sent. SMTP cannot be reached. Most common was "This site can't be reached www.google.com's server IP address could not be found," Suggestions of a fix yielded nothing. Previous visits by Austin were very successful. But he needs to return so I can use my desktop, I am writing this on my laptop,

    The agent did everything I knew how to do to remove the paper. A complete waste of money for nothing done

    Geek Squad printer setup very disappointing

    The agent set up my printer and it worked when we tried it out. The next day and everyday thereafter when I tried to print it said the set up wasn’t complete and won’t print. He said call him if there was a problem. It’s on me that I haven’t yet. I paid $100 for this setup

    The issue was still not resolved. Once the techs left, I worked out the issue so that I was able to print with no problem. However, I did replace the printer (per tech's suggestion) because I was not able to scan properly.

    Geek agent unknowingly did not complete the set up of my printer. I'm awaiting a(nother?) Geek to come and finish the job. Then I'll see how I like the printer.

    Geek Squad did shoddy installation!

    The agent connected my printer to my laptop. He did a diagnostic test and said it was fine. He printed something and left. He was miffed because he didn’t understand why he had to come all the way from Brooklyn to Queens. Anyway, I didn’t attempt to use the printer until days later. It printed a few pages then nothing. Long story short, the printer isn’t working. I will have to request another visit, but I’d like to make sure the next agent sent will be from the Valley Stream store and hopefully without an attitude!

    Thanks for asking! When the young man finally finished and left, I thought everything was okay, except for the the fact that he told me a couple of times that now I had a wireless printer. Actually, I did not want a wireless printer. I wanted a printer that would plug in and work. This was not what I got. I discovered that the problem had really not been corrected. Consequently, I am still having the same problem The printer has never been wireless. Again, that is not what I wanted: My printer does not work. I would like to be able to plug everything in correctly and print from the pc.

    Printer to wifi connection problems

    The outsourced "agent" had me online chat over two hours without being able to connect my printer to my wifi. Then transfered me to a "printer specialist". After another hour the agent disconnected the call.

    The agent was very dismissive and told me that I didnt need all the functions on the printer. He refused to set up things like scanning and faxing as he deemed them unnecessary for me! It was an absolute waste of time. All he did was set it up on the desk and plug it in and connect it to the Wi-Fi and computer he did not do anything to Make it work. That is why I got a refund.

    Bad experience! Geek Squad was terribly inept. I might never use Best Buy again. They could not set up my printer!! today. How pathetic is that?

    The installer of my new Epson printer would not spend time with me for questions. He said he had no time. Geek Squad has some excellent installers like Scott but some “don’t care about my clients” installers.

    Agent didn't provide full service that we expected , He gave an excuse that one phone call to Canon EXPLAINED the problem and would have allowed the setup to continue. He wanted to charge more than the original paid service to upgrade our operating syetem which was not necessary. Paid $79,99, he wanted to charge $100.00+ more which in 5 minutes Canon on the phone proved that the geek was a phony just to ring up a larger BILL PLUS, what we had paid. NEVER DID GET THE ADDED FEATURES FROM THE GEEK WHEN I REFUSED AND CALLED CANON HE JUST LEFT! Watch out for this guy!!! Please see that Best Buy corp. reviews this It was not worth the orig. 79.99 They have my phone number and can call any time.

    Terrible customer service!

    I have total tech support ($200/year). I needed an in-home tech visit to fix a printer connection problem. I scheduled it (first available appointment was more than 3 weeks out! ) and was required to pay the full $50 on the spot (in the store) in advance). I ended up fixing the problem myself and returned to the store for a refund. After waiting 20 minutes, I was told the store could not refund the $50 and I would have to call the geek squad number. I was on hold for one hour!!! Then waited 3 weeks to receive a refund!!! TERRIBLE customer service!!!!
